I got into Canberra mid afternoon, once I had checked in I went for a wander around the capital of Australia. Its much calmer than Sydney, with large pedestrianised sections to walk through. last year, after another slightly disappointing birthday, (the planned events were cancelled due to the wonderful british weather! And only slightly as I happen to have a wonderful group of supportive friends and family) I came to the conclusion that it was time to leave the damp and slightly grey British Isles for a warmer climate and awesome amounts of adventure.
