use of "executed" I'm lovin' the blog and am terribly restless for a vacation of my own. IN the meantime, I'm living vicariously (both in the food and the adventure). However, perhaps don't use "basic and executed perfectly" when talking about chicken and potatoes. "Did she just say the chicken was executed perfectly, ewww???" ;-) You guys are awesome!
Imp in the leaves Jen you look like a wee imp flitting about in the leaves! Tee hee! :) I hope when people ask where you're from, you pronounce it Californey...
Prego Clothes Scrubs OR muumuus.....You would look so "retro" in a muumuu.... You could send an order to Granny and she could whip up some especially for you....Aloha!!!!
I would be interested in what the "burrito" consisted of....

San G and the Hotel and from F to the country Thank you, thank you, thank you, what a lovely adventure. Now if only you could find a way to provde the smell and tastes of this trip. My mouth was watering something awful. Knowning you guys, if anyone can do it its you two! Kathi
Yeah for elastic! Wear the maternity pants to dinner. This is the only time that pants with that much elastic won't get you nominated for "What not to Wear". The cruise sounds fantastic, but there is something not fair about you going on a vacation from your vacation.
Hello! Hi Rix-tuplets! It sounds like you are having a fabulous time abroad...Even little Rix seems to be enjoying the surroundings and food.
It seems like you have been gone much longer than you have...you do realize, you have to come back here, right?
Anyways, Taylor had a cool day at the animal shelter on Monday...petting a snake and looking at hissing cockroaches :-\ I can't imagine ANYONE ever wanting to adopt hissing cockroaches (?). You two look fantastic and rested. Anyways, continue enjoying your vacation. Thanks for the pictures and updates. See you soon, the Slagle Family
Bump Alert!! You look so preggo and so cute!!! I love it! And I'm glad to hear the cravings are "almost" being taken care of. Fiesta burritos await your return. Rock on, local girl.
All I Want for Christmas We're still waiting to see the leather jacket........ All I want for Christmas is a cute little red 'rickshaw' with wheels. Loved it. Running errands in the city could be fun!
Pantheon If I remember our tour, that hole in the roof that lets in the sun was there to let out the smoke from the animal sacrifices that went on there, at least, I think it was "animal." Love you, Mom Schmitz
Love the journal entries! Keep 'em coming! I am truly enjoying your fantastic accounts of your adventures and all the lovely photos. Thanks for sharing this experience with all of us!
Love your blog Just wanted you to know that we are enjoying every blog entry. I thought it would be a great idea for us in the future, but Ted asked how you had the time to write and send the journal. I would have thought pregnancy might slow Jen down, but I guess not! Enjoy your cruise. We took a cruise last year through from Rome through Naples and to Greece. Such joy!
Gutten Morgan We're loving your blogs....salivating over all the yummy delectables, photos and thoughts of being there. (but having to wait a lonnnng year....:( Kristin loved her card, as did we. She is proud of having learned a new word, "architecture". Hugs, Mom
Just logged on Hi guys, it's Mom Schmitz, just decided to look at the blog and really enjoyed all of the journals and pictures. Having been in Florence the end of July, all looked familiar. So glad you are having a grand time and keeping us all up to date! Not to "rain on your parade," but, I was sick every morning for nine months and I'm not just talking nauseated, if you get my drift. Have another chocolate gelato (wise decision, by the way) for me and a beer (Gus, not Jen) for Dennis. All is well here. Keep having fun. Love you, Diane
15 weeks! NJ and M
C'mon---put on a bikini so we can see the real belly!
This is such a fun read.....Keep up the great work. You might think about writing a column about your travels for some magazine or newspaper...

Toilet Alert Um, yeah, I've been there (Italy) and done that (the half-stand-half-squat maneuver over the porcelain holes). The least they could do is put railings in front the things so we girls could have something to hold on to! All I can say is, hike those pants legs up to your knees, sister! And good luck to you as the belly begins to alter your center of gravity!! :)
Museum Hint Yo G's. Here's a museum hint-if you do want to get into the Uffizi or another, check them out an hour or two before closing. Ya still have to pay, but we found no line and hardly any folks inside. We just cruised through the whole thing and saw what we wanted to quickly! You sound like you're having an amazing time! Yeah!
Ummm yeah. Hey guys, I'm not sure I can continue to read your blog. Or at least, I'm not sure if I can read it while I'm at work. :-) It's exciting and creating a little Charlie Brown cloud of envy over my head that may take a while to go away. SO glad you guys are having a blast, you deserve it!
2 days relaxation FOOOOOOOOODIE HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When is dinner, Jen style? I want an invite!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the running commentary and all the pix's, thanks Rix's. Kathi
