This trip is a study abroad by NC State University. I will take two classes: one in international marketing, and the other in Renaissance history. For the main part of the trip, I will be staying in Florence and attending the Instituto Lorenzo de Medici. This international school is located in the heart of the historical birthplace of the Renaissance. Dante, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and many more historical icons were all born in this city. Each weekend, I will venture off to other areas of Italy including Rome, Venice, Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Sorrento, Isle of Capri, Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. This trip could easily be one of the most interesting and exciting moments of my life.
