Packed up all our suitcases and got set to leave V's apt. M came at 1230. Went to lunch buffet place Vindu's Indian Cuisine. Veeran and co. joined us at 1.15. After lunch went to Veeran's place. Played 56 for close to 6 hours! At 9 went to Downtown. Saw a park, had gelato (as we were eating Owen Wilson came in and got an ice-cream) and bid goodbye to Veeran and others. Went to UTD by DART bus. The bus driver was bit scared whether I will buy a ticket! When I got into the bus, he said 'how are you...enjoy your trip'. It is written in the DART website that the driver will not have change and therefore IF we want to buy ticket we need to give exact change. Why unnecessarily troubling the driver and give him the additional work of issuing a ticket! Bus no 883 towards railway station had mostly students and couple of old people. It appears everyone carries some sort of monthly pass so no one buys/checks for tickets. While waiting for the return trip, I saw the bus coming in the opp direction practically empty and the driver started eating his lunch. It appears drivers take 5-10 mins break in each ... read more

Did not go to Tom Thumb. At 745 Bryant dropped us at the new place (http://www.thepradera.com/). V setup the tv etc and had to wait till 11 for the cable people to come and give the connection. I walked back to UTD in 30 mins. In the evening shifted everything in Bryant / Madhu's car. M left after dinner. I walked to Tom Thumb (another one which is .5 miles away) in 10 mins and bought fruits.... read more

Evening my Nathan56 friend PK Joseph came and picked up the three of us and went to his house in Las Colinas, a beautiful residential area. Viswam installed 56 in his computer so that he also can host the game from now on. Then we went to Olive Garden - Italian restaurant in Addison for dinner. Got dropped near Addison Circle. M brought us back and had dinner and went back.... read more

At M's apt. Was up early as usual. Both us went down and had a look around the area outside the apt. complex at Addison. Bought tissue roll at the nearby convenience store. R had hurt his leg a bit, so he sat on a park bench while i walked in circles around the dog park. Went back to apt. at 8.30. Madhu left to the gym. I got ready and did some packing work. Madhu was back by 10.45. Left at 11.45 and went to Madhu's friend Rekha's house for lunch as planned. After lunch came back to Rajesh's house and took a nap. It was Narmana's birthday. Played croquet for a while and then 'Now What', a new game which she had received as a gift. Hardly played a round..it was time to leave ... read more
