We loved the Nasca Lines
When you get back read a book called Chariots of the Gods by Erich von Daniken. Our plane was hot and with all the weaving around to see the lines well I did get airsick...but it was worth it. Thanks for the memories.

I always get a chuckle when traveling in other countries that are lax on time everyone seems to have the same wrong information. At least they are consistent. Glad you had such a wonderful time.

Panama...Expectations
Outstanding job on your blogging "PANAMA SURPASSING ALL EXPECTATIONS". If was a fun read with good pictures added. It was a bit scary reading about your walking in the dark at night and the security guard showing concern. Overall a good job of sharing your high tea experience, it was enough to make me want to go to high tea and find out more of what it is all about. Not good when they think they have you figured out by taking a quick look at you. Age is a mental state and sounds like you are still a young traveler. We've been to Sting Ray city and the only bad thing is too many people rough up the sand. I'm glad you had the time to ponder. Enjoy

The driver's statement took me by surprise. I forget I am so much older than some. He was very nice to me, actually.
Guess I got lucky; although there were many people I was able to get many really good photos of the sting rays. It helps if you wear your mask. Thanks for the kind words.

Never too old
I am a very senior scuba diver and I am finishing up a five month scuba diving trip in SE Asia. I just finished my one hundredth dive since the start of the trip in April. I was certified in 1986 but didn't dive regularly until after my last child was born, when I was forty (I have seven). This is not my first trip to Asia; I dove in Palawan - Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia, and have taken dive trips to Cozumel, Canada, Malta, Bonaire, Honduras and Bahama, and have done dives in the Black Sea - Bulgaria, and Epcot Center in Florida. I tell people we dive where ever there is a puddle.... full info
