Bonjour everyone, Forgot to tell you - last night in Quebec we went to a Thai-cambodian-vietnamese restaurant - which was outstanding - Lou was really sick with flu and the waitress gave her some saki to make her feel a bit better and she also asked if we wanted cold water or hot water - thel asked for cold and lou asked for hot - thinking it would just be room temperature - it was so hot she couldnèt lift up the glass - boiling hot - just needed a little tea bag and she could have made a cuppa!! oooh la la - we LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Quebec City - it is so clean and so so so so old......... and we feel old too - all this bloody walking and eating - it wears you out!!! hills and hills and hills in Quebec City - ARrived in QC (thatsè quebec city from now on) ... the 3.5 hour train trip was fun and the scenery was qorgeous as we had another blue sky day yesterday and today - there was lots of corn growing and it reminded Thel and Lou of Pensylvannia - lots of silos and barns etc .some of the trees starting to change colour for the fall and we hope that they are just perfect when we get to new york..... thank God we arrived rested after the train journey because there was ... read more

Bonjour again.... 2 great days in Montreal to report on, we arrived safe and sound as you know - except for lunatic taxi driver - all mad and drive so fast !!! Or maybe its because they know where they are going? Our B&B is very cute, clean and private. There is a fairy godmother living here - because we came home yesterday and all our washing was done and dry in the dryer... merci ... we are in the latin quarter of Montreal and we have food in every direction - bloody fantastic.... did we tell you we like food.. don't worry there are hours of walking in between feeding times. Now where were we....... oh yeah in Victoria - the capital of B.C. (that's British Columbia nothing to do with Christ). Fab day and nights. Lots of people begging both here and in Vancouver - Lou has given some change only to worthy ones however she was tired last night and didn't read the guys sign - he wanted cash for weed and booze - so he had a great night because Lou couldn't take it back.... Beautiful weather and we were about to send our jackets and jumpers home - but thank the Lord we didn't because last night was soooooooooooo cold - it blew a gale here. we thought of a few things we forgot to tell you and have some time before we board the sea plane. Did we mention to you that we travelled business class from Australia to LA?? well we did and we forgot to tell you that in business class you can make phone calls and we could send text messages - we sent one to Sally and one to Noddy and Gramps - the most amazing part about that was that all of the hostesses had never seen it happen before - they thought it didn't work - but it does ..... and in the loo in business class - there are towells to wipe your hands, deoderant, after shave etc just in case you want to freshen up and we were given eye masks and socks ... read more
