Welcome to South Africa It sounds like you are already have a great time in our country, but I hope you and your ladies enjoy yourselves in your new country. Stay safe! Pilanesberg is a great place for seeing most of the wild animals.
Love Cape Town I visited Cape Town last August and it was not enough time! Planning to head back with the family. Thank you for the inspiration and information. Have put Delaire Graff onto the list.
What a beautiful place to live!!! You didn't mention where Leslie is living and going to school. It's hard to keep up with how old there both are...time flies. Is he in university yet?
Welcome to you new home Paul and I would love to visit as we really enjoyed our time touring the country but sadly we are banned from returning to South Africa after overstaying our 90 day Visa for 2 days! Looks like you are living a much better lifestyle though Pierre so enjoy and enjoy some more. Cheers Sheila x
Sad to read this... The way they calculate those 90 days is actually quite...special...I know you have to be very careful with those. I guess the ban is not forever...because it's a beautiful country!
Good Luck Been following you blogs and wishing you happiness and good fortune on the African continent, as you mentioned very different to Asia - lol Sheila x
Thanks Sheila! Only few more weeks of being homeless ahead for us....can't wait for Africa...it's not like if we were not spending a lot of time there already! Will be blogging from home!
Harbin How lucky are you Peter? Harbin at a warm minus 18 degrees. When I had the chance to go it was minus 30 degrees. How lucky are you? Attending the Ice Festival at minus 18. Very lucky it seems!
The Great Ocean Road What was once the Twelve Apostles is receding more and more. I can tell by your pics Peter. How many are left? But still a magic part of the Australian coast. We spent two weeks at Port Campbell and two weeks in Otway National Park one year. Every morning and evening I was praying for the perfect shot. The water was freezing and the sun so hot...amazing contrasts and I'm glad you got there.
Welcome back! Hey PA,
Didn't realise you were going to be over here, but given your normal travel I guess you're long gone. Good news, the seals, dolphins and whales have been back in Kaikoura!
Hi Jo! Let say....as usual, it was slightly on the run....nostop first in Auckland...but few days later...I looked for you at the Christmas parade...in case I would find you and your camera...sadly, no chance...back in BKK already....
This blog is just short of 10 years old. We have now move to South Africa.
Why South Africa? Simple, great wine, great food, great golf and even more amazing diving! I will for once continue to blog from time to time about home. After all, this is just my fourth continent after having grow up in Europe, lived in Asia for twenty years, and even spent a full year living the life of Buenos Aires.
Come to visit....there is so much to do here! ... full info
