A lot of exciting things have been happening during our last week here in Ecuador! We’ve been spending the past few days traveling to different areas of the country and learning so much about the land and its people. Something specific that’s stood out to me are the dogs here. While we didn’t see many strays in Quito, the countryside is filled with them – old dogs, puppies, mother dogs, watch dogs, dirty strays, etc. Every time we would stop at a rest stop, a group of us would interact with the dogs (sorry, professora…they’re just so cute!) who live there.
