The Chapel of Man

This is located in the center of the museum and it depicts skeletal figures climbing out of the mines and towards the light. This piece definitely stuck out the most to me.

Today was a very busy third day here in Quito! We met with another host mama and two fellow students and visited the Fundación Guayasamín Museum, had empanadas at a local restaurant for lunch, toured beautiful churches in downtown Quito, saw the sights at Panecillo, and tried hot chocolate with cheese at Republic de Cacao.
