Mi manchi Ciao bella figlia! I was laughing out loud reading the blog, more so cause I know you so well. In my mind I could see your face when the umbrelli gypsy came. By the way, I would love that topary pinecone for home. Love you xoxoxo
Ciao Ciao I was laughing out loud reading this blog, I'm guessing this bike was a thousand pounds. Are there any yummy shops that will ship Tartufo, and torrone to the USA?
Viva Coffee Wow, now I know what I'm doing wrong, Expresso with Amaretto for breakfast from now on. This blog was funny, although, honestly I was worried about you going to the game.
Ciao! I was wondering if this is where we walked around a bit, and if you got to go into more parts than our last trip? Did you see many Gyspies? Roman soldiers? How about the people selling rosaries?
Ciao Bella Figlia Laura, I can't imagine all the walking you must be doing. Siena is beautiful, especially the Duomo. The photos are beautiful. I want some yummy pastry too!!!
Peace God Bless you with continued happiness, good health and success, and to all you love. I am so glad you are making the most of your time, the IES program... All my love, Bella
Park Place Laura, you could open up a lil tour guide business soon! Travel with Americans to Italy, and spare them the umbrella...lol....Hope God has a sense of humor when he catches Al walking on water... call the Vatican it's a miracle.....They just don't make things like they us too!!!
The Crypt The Basilica was one of my favorite places we visited together, touching the foot of Saint Peter's statue, the Pieta...there were so many people inside yet it was so quiet...so beautiful... it must be extra special for you now since you visited the tomb of Saint Peter and Pope John Paul II.
I want Gelati!!! .... 463 stairs... is that like when we move you in to your apartment on the sixth floor and the elevator is broken and we have to carry everything up the stairs...lol ... Your blog is so enjoyable to read and the pictures are a treat. Ponte Veccio is so pretty at night , love seeing you and Al , you both look happy and well, thank God. Florence was well worth the train ride. All in all, a soft bed, bistecca Florentine, Italian wine, Gelati, sightseeing, good friends , music and so much more.... I can't wait to see all the pictures you have taken. Did you eat one of those oranges? mmmmm ......
Penn State Commons.... ... imagine you are doing your assignments in Saint Peter's Basilica......field trips to the Roman Forum.....I am so excited for you, love you honey, have a great time. Ciao Bella

And this was a cute entry. :)

Field Study Italians, they really come through for field study and class trips. I think by now you have seen more than Italians see there own lifetime living in Rome. So glad you got the chance to visit all these sites, especially the Mouth of Truth, since last time we went it was at night and locked up. The photos are inspiring. My favorite, of course, is you at the Mouth of truth.
:) "They always try to cut in line, never say scusi if they bump into you while walking, and expect you to move out of there way" ...welcome to New York City. haahaha
this blog was funny <3
nice I think it's great that you are using Italian more and more. I am proud of you that you're not just taking the easy way out and speaking English. <3
