Great commentary Pam............very enjoyable over a coffee and bagel this weekend.
I am looking at maps tying in your jouney and the historic references. I enjoy that.
It appears to me that I may need to put israel on my bucket list.
Have fun.....BE SAFE

spring Pam - good to hear you are so relaxed and enjoying life by the sea. Sounds great!
Supper with Ron & Marilyn on Sat ... thinking of you, and all were happy to read these dispatches.
Mild weather ... slow melt ... your timing is perfect!
See you soon.
Cheers
Fred
re: beautiful
It really does sound beautiful... It's spring!! We have many plants giving off green shoots and now tulips peeking out of the ground also. The kids are all excited as this is their school's week of extra phys. ed happenings - swimming lessons every day for Peter, three days roller blading for Lucia and John and Philip each get two half days of rock climbing. After that we'll be into Holy Week and preparing to go to Regina for Easter. We'll be a small crowd this year as you, Paul and Tanya's family and Novecoskys won't be in Regina. I am truly looking forward to a long visit on Good Friday with Dad, Grandma Petroski, Schneiders, possibly T,K,L LaBelles and Grismers. You of course will most likely have the most memorable Holy Week and Easter of your life!
My reference about the olympics was about farmer vision - We don't have cable, but were able to enjoy complete coverage of the olympics via CTV and OMNI =)
Take care. Love, Stephanie
Greetings I will take the boys to mass this morning at "your' church and say one for you.
I will look for Liam and famly. I bet he sure misses you.
Spring has come to Regina. I have been thrilled to hear a robin all morning.
I am appreciating you travel blogs...thank you thank you for including me on your list. You write so well and so descriptively that I almost feel that I hve been in you pocket. I m delighted that you are haivng such a good time...would expect any less?
Have not seen anyof the "girls" with he exception of Miss Jayne...she is spending quality time with her delightful grand daughter.
Plese take care of yourelf and "keep up the good work"...leting so many of us live vicariously through you.

Wendy
65 yrs tomorrow Then you will have 2 bros collecting from Stevie. He doesn't look any older, (maybe 1 day older). I don't think it will hurt him too badly. The monetary compensation will dull any pain.
Just back from our last Mass here for this spring. Will be in the US next wk end.
Interesting blog as usual. Keep the news coming. Enjoy, R&C
Speaking of lovely gardens... Pam, it sounds almost like your garden, but I bet yours is nicer! Glad to hear all is still well - too bad about Israel being expensive but I know you will do it in style on a budget. It is a pleasure to watch the snow melt and to dream of greener days ahead. Safe travels, Aunt Pam.
Love, Tim, Krista and Liam
History! History! History! Everywhere you look. Sounds great!
We have 1 wk left.
Having the landlady & a single lady from Calgary over for beef baroey soup & homemade WARM bread today.
Lots of people have left already. There are only 2 units leaving after we leave.
Have a good day.
Love, R&C
Haifa Hi Pam. I'm so glad you saw the Baha'i gardens. Where are you staying? I stayed at St. Charles Hospice at the bottom of Ben Gurion Ave. -run by a wonderful group of nuns
Again, I'm continuing to enjoy your travels. - Marion B.
Green with Envy! I have been doing some travelling myself - to North Battleford and Moose Jaw with my friend Vicki, a United Church minister from Toronto. We had a ball visiting old friends; more laughs than I have had for awhile. A good interlude as Budget DAy is March 24 and it will not be happy-making for many people. Read the LP online on March 25 for the highlights/lowlights as you see them.
Petra - it sounds as though it was as wonderful as I imagined! Thank you for letting me live vicariously through your experiences! Joy
When in Cana... Hey Pam. Well when beer isn't an option maybe you should turn to wine. May the best of your trip be like the wine at the wedding of Canna: Saving the best for last. We love the stories. Liam loves the photo of you on the donkey. Have a wonderful and keep us posted. Tim, Krista and Liam
I must confess that I am enjoying your travel blog immensely, I was emailed this link by a fine young lady called Ling zhi whom I happened to discover reading it quite intently, one day. What a great adventure you seem to be having and we are so delighted for you...oh and so sorry about the beer, (rats) hahaha...be well...Lingzhi&Carlos
Wonderful to follow your trail, Pam Thank you for taking me on this walk through territory I have only imagined. It sounds like a wonderful experience. I hope you are taking pictures too!
Carole and I are home now, and as I look at the photographs, I realize it's the things we were closest to, lived in and around every day that we did not photograph, and so I wish I'd taken more. Thank goodness for digital!
Ilook forward to your next report
Brenda
Everything about Nazareth sounds delightful - your accommodation, where you are located (no cars) and the walk! I'm envious. Do take care on the next leg of your journey.
Nazareth This part of the journey sounds absolutely wonderful. After hearing the news about the problems in Israel, I had hoped you would be okay. So, I am praying for your safety and thorough enjoyment of this part of the world. Enjoy! And keep writing these wonderful blogs about your journey. Hopefully you'll bring home some of those spices, herbs and even coffee to share with us Canadians.

Thanks for the memories. Your blogs have been facinating and I am enjoying them immensely. Sounds like the trip is mostly going well. I love the way you travel. My trip to Playa del Carmen is over, it was very much an eat, lie on the beach and shop trip for me. Not the typical way I usually travel but very pleasant for all that. Spring is finally arriving in Regina with the sound of cars spashing through the melting snow. Stay safe and well and sorry about the beer thing.
Sounds terrific. Makes me reminisce about the Hotel du Sud in the heart of Marrakesh. No vehicles either, just pedestrians. And like a maze. It was pretty cool. In the mornings we would wake to a vendor selling something or other - probably milk or eggs for breakfast. Then we would go around the corner and there would be some woman selling round flat bread. then a little farther and we would be in the market. We were just a block from the main sook, where all the action took place every day and evening. It was like stepping back thousands of years in time. Great memories.
I hope you take pictures Sounds absolutly lovely, and I'm glad you are not with one of those large groups with a scarf or cap... I can't believe you are there. I guess with the passage of 2000 yrs it's not as it was when Jesus, Mary and Joseph resided there, but it still sounds warm and rich with smells and experiences. Please say a prayer asking the intercession of St. Joseph for Shane's Aunt Wanda who is frustrated with her illnesses. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
Love,
Steph
Sounds like more your style... to be doing things on your own. Or in a small group that changes daily or so. Good for you. You sound much happier. It must be something to see all those ancient sites & have heard the stories about them. Bet it is interesting.
Nettie dropped in today. She looks fine. Her brother from Ottawa (Phillip?) was with her. Her father-in-law is stable, but no promises about the future. The bro is here until next Thurs. Bryon comes back a wk from Sun. Then they will decide how long they are staying.
It is getting more & more spring like. Hope it is nice at home when we get there.
We look forward to your next blog. They are very interesting.
Love, R&C
Oh, it seems you are seeing a great deal of new and interesting spots! It is a big world, eh?
I have moved today into my "new" lab. The girls took me for lunch and we'll go for beer after work; I'll drink one for you since you're having trouble consuming the elixir.
Stay safe,
Shirley
