Behave You're right Paul. We flew back to the Gold Coast a week ago and first thing I did was book an appointment at the chiropractor???? Bloody humid here compared to Perth.
John
John Rowe...you are so I can't even begin to describe you. Looked at where your Perth camping site is (Seventh Day Adventist in Kalamunda Road) - and what do I see?
A Kilometer up the road the junction between Kalamunda Road and (Jean, are you sitting comfortably???) Roe Highway....
Just how long did it take you to find this place John? :)
And wouldn't you... slow down if you were a 2 million year old Stromatolite? - Let's see how fast you move around when you get to that age :) (Probably a bit quicker than me at present....)
When you get to Perth, if you want to ingratiate yourselves with the owners of the Caravan Park, just flop out your family history - they'll welcome you with open arms and promises of sealing you!
wow !!!!! Hi Dad and Rose wow what a amazing journey you are taking I finally had a chance to look through all of the entries in peace while the girls are at school ....I am speechless , such amazing places ...so happy for you both and omg so envious :)))))
Hope you guys are well unsure as to where you are at the moment but hoping you are safe :) We are all doing great ,your beautiful house is still standing and yes I am still mowing the lawns on my own hehe... all the hard work is on the list for greg to do lol !!! Missing you both so much ....xxx
Harumph! Will you stop all this talk of deflating and then having to pump it back up please? It reminds me of my 6 monthly specialist vists! (Sorry Jean and Rose - secret Men's Business...).
News last night here reported on the temperatures recently around the country - been a bit warm up there has it? I'll be thinking of you on Sat when Tim's racing the other side of Port Phillip - 'only' 18, cold and showery for the day - bugger! Wanna swap places?
Jealous! Hi Both,
You never bore us with your descriptions - it sounds fantastic and you have one very jealous sister over this side of the world! Good to hear you're heading towards Caernarvon - only 100miles or so from Brum - pop in if you've got the time! Can't believe you had to be 'rescued' with the help of the fishermen - I'd have died with the panic - bet it didn't do the heart any good did it? All is well over here, we had -2C yesterday, beautiful day but bloody cold!! Look forward to the next installment - take it easy both and stay safe. Love as always xoxoxoxoxox
What was... Hey John - I can't seem to find it anywhere and I was busy all day Saturday. What WAS the final score in the game? :) ANd who did eventually win?
Hic! As you head south from Perth - first you have to walk 2km out to sea at Busselton (and hope it wasn't weather like we had it when we were there - nice a sunny on the way out, huge black storm on the way back!)
And then take a nice, liesurely 48km drive down to Margaret River where you can throw out all the food, souveniers etc you have packed in the van and FILL HER UP with WINE, WINE and more WINE! :)
And whilst you are filling her up with WINE! Send Rose down the caves so you can fit in more WINE!.
BTW - did you know that Margaret River is a WINE district :) (Bugger - better not let Jenny know you are goinf down that way....)
And look up Cocklebiddy - it has that nice sinking feeling about it!
Wimp!! Thanks for the compliments Stephen? Us Aussies aren't used to the cold you know! (It's 30 yrs now, since I was neutralised). Yes, Wave Rock is on the agenda. Thanks for the advice.
Poor Rosie What has poor Rosie done to you, 4 long walks in 4 days and another when she was recovering from the first 4!!!!!!!!! You are a madman, typical bluenose ha ha. We had popey by us all day, cops everywhere, Jean went along to see him too, but he has gone now, so things will calm down. Glad to see you guys are havin fun..... well you are anyway, not so sure about Rosie. love you lots see you soon. Dave
Snow? What snow? Your a wimp! That means you ain't going to Tassie at any time then (snow in Hobart on Christmas Day/New Years Day isn't uncommon....
Glad you are collecting the sand then - we still have some from our Nullabor drive! In fact, there's still plenty still floating around in the Tarago (yep, still got it :( )
Have you decided which way you are coming across the Nullabor from Perth? Down through Bunbury/Albany and up to Norseman or across to Kalgoorlie? You have to fit in Wave Rock either way though...
Sand sand and more sand Hope you are collecting samples of sand along the way to make your Sand Bottle (wait til you get down to Servantis (sp??) and then around the southwest...)
Meant to ask - are you heading into Tas or just sticking to the North Island?
Love it Hi Aunty and John,
Im loving reading about your adventures, It brings back a lot of memories from when Dad took us up that way a very long time ago, I remember the Hot springs, the crocs and the huge termite mounds, they are amazing.. You guys look like your having the best time.
That was a very lovely and thoughtful thing that you did for Dad, he would be stoked..
Look forward to reading more about your adventures and the pics are great.
Love you both very much, big hugs
Love Candice, Mitch and the Girls xxxxxxxxxx
Pete & Laura Lovely to see some pics of Pete and Laura again - and at work!! No doubt you'll be catching up with them again pretty soon. Typical antics of the footie lads - sounded hilarious! Photo's are really good as usual - the scenery gets better. All is well over here, 2nd little grand-daughter is just gorgeous, to think she'll be nearly one by the time you get home!! Keep the blog going, it's great! xxx
Surfing Safari So - did you try to 'hang five' horizontally? :)
And Rose - enjoy the quiet time - remember that he IS coming back - just as loud, raucous and willing to ride a bike as ever!
(And yes - I know they are dIngoes and not dOngoes - maybe I left the R out ! )
Lol Hello both, lovely photo's again, and what a funny video of Rosie feeding the barra. We did giggle. Have you managed a camel ride yet? Good luck to Pete's team for the weekend. Take care, love you both xxxx
Shadrack! Hi both,
Fantastic photo's and update as usual. Really wish I was doing a lap also! The Horizontal waterfalls look amazing - as do the camels, that's a great shot. I somehow had an image of you on the bikes along the beach suddenly coming to a sudden stop and going arse over tip over the handlebars!!! Keep up the news, makes brilliant reading. Will let you know how Helena is once she's delivered this Friday (27th)... Love to you both xxxx
Dongoe's huh? (YOu may want to censor this :) )
See any babies as well?
- yes, I'm the sick one this time!
Still bloody jealous. Hey - if I promise to leave Jenny at home, do you want a driver?!
