Just a thought Hey up both, your doing great keep it up, love the pics Rosie specially the sunsets. Just a thought tho if you could get hold of a Graduated Neutral Density filter for your lens, it would hold back the sky a bit and lighten the land, or you could tell me to shove it!!!!! You will need a support tho (Tripod) if you want I will lend you mine, I can bring it out next week it wont be a problem, Pat would have to come too to carry it.
Just remember - it is the horizontal WATERFALL!
You could always take Steve Parish's 'boat trip' at the end of Sept - Broome to Darwin including stops along the way - exclusively with Parish (and 67 other people!) - all for a measly $8,000 starting price. Save you a bit of petrol money though :)
Diddums! No phone! No internet! Freezing water! Crocs! Typical pom - can't you ever stop complaining? :) You should know by know that if you feed the crocs they will remain content and happy and won't bother you (well, you hope!)
BTW - make sure you get some shots of the tidal waterfalls at Talbot Bay (I presume you ARE going up that way?) You could even go syrfing - well, you could think about it.
BTW - did I tell you I'm jealous? :)
Reading a book! Just sent you an email and only just noticed this blog update! You write this really well, feels like we're on the journey with you. Full of information and like Pat, check things you talk about on the net after. No doubt you'll see some really interesting characters in the 'local' pubs on your way around. Keep that little dog in some of your pics - I remember him well. A truly lovely thing to do for Graeme too. Keep safe now xxx
Hello Hi both,
it looks like you're both keeping well. It's so interesting seeing where you've been. I remember seeing the bar in Croc Dundee!
We had a good holiday last weekend, Woolacombe is such a lovely place. I think we'll be going back again. Dave is off with the Cubs again this weekend, he went off yesterday (Friday) morning and will be back tomorrow (Sunday) he's only up at Blackwell. I think there are only a couple of cub things left before they break up for the summer, hopefully. It's been a busy couple of months for him just lately.
Speak soon
Take care, love you both
Pat
