You wouldn't read about it would you? After arriving safely in Tewantin and supposedly staying for only two nights, the car has developed an electronic problem. This means we can't leave now until Tuesday as the local Toyota mob can't fix it until Monday!!!!
It just means that we will have to break all speed records getting to Broome by 14th Aug.
We visited Rose's uncle Chick at Buderim today hoping to cheer him up after his recent bowel operation. Unfortunately Serena had to call the ambulance while we were there due to him developing severe pain. Hope he's ok?
We're hoping to go on a boat trip along the Noosa River to the "Everglades" on Sunday, weather permitting. Not much else to report. Oh just remembered! Received the van's rego sticker today, from Ellie and the girls had included a couple of notes with sketches of Rose and I. I noticed they had been drawn on the back of some bank forms and Alexie had filled the front in with a figure of $110,000,000 to be credited to her. "Smart girl".

That's all for now folks!!!

Go Australia

.... seems like you also need a good mechanic. Neil comes pretty cheap and can fix almost anything!! So there you go - a Cub Leader and Mechanic all the way from the UK. Hang on in Tewantin a few more days! Look forward to hearing all your stories - stay safe xx
