i miss italy! Hello friends. i love hearing about your adventures. we definitely had some navigation difficulties in florence as well. did you find the michelanglelo park? great view of the city and bridges and all. so beautiful! i hope you are getting some rest and still enjoying each other. we had a lot colder weather, and more oranges (great blood oranges in italy), rather than gelato. i can't remember the name of the pizza place we went to, but it was right around the corner from the Hotel Dani in case you kept those directions. Keep enjoying Europe for me! i can't wait to see more pics and hear more stories!
Albergo della Giobentu Ostello Hey Jen and Laura. It sounds like you are really having the authentic post-college-American adventurer experience. I am truly jealous, reading about all of your (mis)adventures. I have one assignment to give you though... when you get to Cinque Terre, proceed directly to Manarola where you will find a Co-op. Buy a 2 Euro box of wine and continue on your way up the very steep hill until you get to the Hostel there. At the restaurant, order the Pesto Gnocchi and eat it on the rooftop pavilion - the view and the food is simply amazing. Otherwise, good luck will everything, and happy Eurotripping.
I'm going to pretend I didn't read that comment about being a loser and doing to bed at 9... :)
Sounds like you two are livin it up...tent style! I hope you have an awesome time together. This will be something you will never forget.
Miss ya! Have tons of fun and thanks for updating this so often... it's so fun to read about your adventures!
Extra Key? Hi, Jen! I noticed that your flights made it on time. Hopefully your connection with Laura went flawlessly! Anyway, the mechanic wants me to bring a spare key to him to try. The key has a small electric part in it, and he thinks that may be it. I am headed to your apt to see. Love ya, Dad
Your luck amazes me! Dearest Jen! I am laughing it up over here in Barcelona as I finally read your entry about your car troubles. At least you are used to car trouble and know how to take it in stride, if it had been me I´d have cried (you know I would have too!), in addition to panicking about not having a car before leaving for 4 weeks! Oh well hopefully it all worked out and I got a really good laugh about it . . . especially that you went out at 9am to get stuff for brats . . . only you!
thanks for the laugh Oh Jen,
I have to be honest - I'm laughing. Your story is quite hilarious - mostly b/c I'm not the one suffering from car problems this time. I feel your pain.
Thanks for sharing this on your blog. What a story.
Hope you can work it all out soon! Just think - you won't have to deal with your car for several weeks!!
Honesty appreciated Laur,
So far this trip sounds AMAZING!! Thanks for taking the time to blog so that we can all live through you and your exciting adventures!!
Also wanted to say that I greatly appreciate your honesty in your writings. Whether they are thoughts about your travel buddies, your own mood, the tours, or your grandma, I enjoy reading what your trip is REALLY like!!
Keep the blogs comin'!!

We got the travel bug early in college and have been planning an escape/celebration trip to Europe ever since . . . and we're finally graduating, which means we are finally going!!! Yay!! As we embark on our adventure we have no idea what we are getting ourselves into, except good times, guarenteed mishaps, and life long memories. Get ready europe cause here we come!... full info
