Hey everyone! I feel as though I´m living my life in a dream . . . it´s all so surreal! It still hasn´t set in that I won´t be back in GR for 6 weeks.
I´m currently in Seville, Spain and we just got here today from Madrid. Madrid was great, we saw all the sights, the Prado Museum, the Plaza Mayor, and the Palacio Real. We also had several really nice dinners out! Things have even been going better than I thought with my traveling buddies 😊 haha
My sister and I have even made some new friends. Sarah, she´s been studying in Madrid for the last 4 months, and she showed us around the Puerta del Sol (aka the nightlife area) on Saturday night, which was a lot of fun. We´ve taken a taxi and the metro so far in addition to our "coach" as the tour guide calls it! Besides Sarah we´ve met some other very cool couples on our trip, granted they´re a little older, but still fun to eat dinner with, etc. Is it possible that we´re the life of the party!? I think so!!
While I´ve thoroughly enjoyed all we´ve done so far, I definitely feel like the typical American tourist . . . we have to walk around with these audio systems, which look like a pager around your neck with an ear piece, so that we can hear what our guides are saying . . . it´s kind of funny, but it works!
Tonight we will see a Flamenco show and have dinner at the hotel. Tomorrow we will tour the city in the morning and go on a boat tour in the evening!

miersy!!! it is soooo good to get an update. and of course you are the life of the party, i wouldn't doubt it for a second. that is awesome that you are meeting cool new people and all that you have done already!! it sounds truly amazing!!! i miss you though! be sure you're taking lots and lots of pictures!
