The big balcony sounds wonderful. You will enjoy that! And, we had a medical evac on our very first cruise, but the ship had not left port yet. So disappointing for the poor passenger and family.

No, you may not bring one home! It would not fit in your living room!It is an interesting form of art that has evolved in technique over the years. As I recall (as a kid, which may not be accurate), the flowers and petals had to all be pu
t on the night before as there were no little florist tubes to keep them fresh. The floats had a chicken wire structure that was covered with a spray foam (or something) into which the flowers were poked. Today's methods allow for much more detail. Fun stuff!
