On the first day I arrived in Osaka, two friends from Hongkong showed me around. Man! Don't the Osakans know how to enjoy life! If you describe yourself as young-minded, trendy, have tons of money don't know where to spend, getting dulled from the cuisines at home and don't know where else to try, then Osaka is the place to come. On the vibriant Ebisu-bashi, restaurants, fashion shops, food stands seem endlessly extending on both sides of the crowds, proudly featuring the famous Osakan octopus balls, Japanese-style fried pancakes, caramel fried sweet potatos, ramen, crab meals...
