Snow and kiwis Congratulations on learning to ski! The snowy mountains look so beautiful with the blue sky. How great that you're inspiring others from Curaçao to travel and realize their dreams--that is a real service! I'm looking forward to seeing where you'll travel when you finish your work.
I know the frustration! I completely understand the snow sport frustration - I was really really bad when I started snowboarding. Skiiing, even worse! Glad you stuck at it. And great you get to pass over the Curaçaoan flag to someone before you move on :-)
Warm greetings from Curacao Great to read what you did the last couple of weeks....very proud of you! Keep making your dream! Your plans are blessed and your steps guided by the Lord....hope to read soon your whereabouts! xxx
Great article Hi Elton! Njoyed this article a lot. I particularly liked the info on the company that recruites workers for camping-sites around Europe. What is the name of this company? You also inspired me to work hard on my Italian. It's great to be able to communicate in Italian when I'm there ;) And the waterpark!! Weeew! One of my favourite places too, I love to visit. Have a good one Elton, take care and be good! Ciao!

Hai Rachael,
yes, usually people travel abroad a lot and don't visit and see much of their own country. But I guess you'll have plenty of time to do it. It's worth it. Glad I did it in the summer though, in the winter I would hate it hahaha.
Take care!!
Globe trotting Glad to see you continue to make your way around the world and thanks for taking us along. New Zealand is like living in a post card. Looking forward to reading more.

I'm Elton, from the island of Curaçao (Southern Caribbean) where I was born, raised and currently living. I grew up in a local neighbourhood just west of Otrobanda in Willemstad. I speak Papiamentu, Dutch, Spanish, English, regular Italian and a little German. Curaçao is a small but unique Island. It's not the typical Caribbean island with just sun and beaches. It has a rich and interesting history and culture. The capital, Willemstad, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Visit Curaçao . com ... full info
