Oh, you also hurt yourself there... That bloddy swing looks safe but it isn't. Both you and I hurt ourselves there. I landed on the side and damaged my ear drum. Pieced ear drums heal but it is awkward while they do. /Ake
Did we do identical trips? It seems we did almost identical trips two years apart from each other. I also went to Tikal and Semuc Champey! Maybe you would find it interesting to read what I wrote and where I went? I wrote six blog entries from that trip and they are dated from December 2015 to January 2016. I really loved Tikal. I guess it would be awesome to see it now right at this moment when there are hardly any visitors there. /Ake
Cool !! I will check them out; been offline from Travelblog lately and didn't write for a couple of months, even though I still have a lot to write about. I will check your entries on Belize and Guatemala
Thanks for the trip down memory lane I went to Belieze a few years ago. Thank you for writing this blog because it brings back many nice memories of Caye Caulker, Belize City and the ATM Caves. As you said, Belize has a lot to offer and I'd love to go back there one day and explore some more. /Ake
Nive Article The Travel blog has gone through so much thinking and research for writing this article. Thank you for sharing this great article with us. This Site is worth to read. Keep sharing this kind of post in future. I’m also an author. So if you have time, I invite you to have a look at my https://www.ellasrilanka.info/ site. Have a nice day.
Hi Nilu!
Thanks for the link. I did check your website, very nice stories about Sri Lanka. I have never been there yet. Is there an option to subscribe?
Dive Belize Belize has been on our travel list for many years. We will make it some day. I'm glad you are at home and have time to blog. More please. The caves sound very enjoyable. Hopefully, we will see them some day. Check out Travelers Century Club. We've joined. It is for people who have traveled to 100 or more countries but they let you join as a provisional member after 75 countries.
Lesser travelled countries are often very interesting I completely understand that you go to countries that see few tourists. We also do that and quite often those countries are very interesting. /Ake
I would love Colonia del Sacramento I can see from your photos and also from reading your blog that I would love Colonia del Sacramento. It will probably be a few years until I make it there though. It is far to South America from Europe. /Ake
It is a small but interesting place.
Yes I can understand, from Europe you'll have to plan a long trip if possible so you can visit 3 or more countries.
I think I can like BA I could probably like Buenos Aires. Looks nice, lots of street art and, of course the Iguazu Falls is high on the most wanted list. /Ake
Bon Biní, Bienvenido, Welkom, Welcome, Benvenuto, Wilkommen!
I'm Elton, from the island of Curaçao (Southern Caribbean) where I was born, raised and currently living. I grew up in a local neighbourhood just west of Otrobanda in Willemstad. I speak Papiamentu, Dutch, Spanish, English, regular Italian and a little German. Curaçao is a small but unique Island. It's not the typical Caribbean island with just sun and beaches. It has a rich and interesting history and culture. The capital, Willemstad, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Visit Curaçao . com ... full info
