Olango Island Sunday morning I met up with a few people to take a boat trip over to an island not too far from Mactan by the named Olango. One of the students here had invited me to join his group for the day and since it was my first weekend here, I wanted to make the most of it in every which way possible without completely exhausting myself. The previous night I didn’t do anything because I was so exhausted from the exploration around Cebu Island, so I managed to be prepared for the trip to Olango. There were eight people in the group, which was nice to split the costs evenly amongst us as we are all on budget and as much as I wish it were a free ride, it’s not. Soon ... read more

Today is Monday, January 26th, and it’s been a full week since I’ve arrived into the Philippines from Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific. I’ve met people from all over the world hailing from countries such as England, Iran, Pakistan, Nigeria, Scotland, Ireland, Hong Kong, India, Sweden, even quite a few from the states. Bigfoot Studios is also affiliated and partnered with Clever Learn and IFTV, International Film and Television Academy. Students here are enrolled in classes such as sound, screen writing, post editing, cinematography, producing, etc. It’s a great facility for people all over southeast Asia to attend to further their talents and abilities essentially making their way into bigger films. So I’m going to retract to last week and touch base on all that I have done in the past week of being in ... read more

Motorcycle Diary It all began Saturday morning, our quest to conquer Cebu Island on a hired 125 motorbike nicknamed ‘The Hog’. I met up with John, grabbed a shot of an espresso at the Fashion Café and we headed out. The mission started on Mactan Island where we are located, we rode passed the small towns, Cebu airport, crossing the bridge over to Cebu city. I was being the typical tourist in a new country taking loads of photos to capture the scenery and everyday lifestyle for the Filipinos or also known as ‘Cebuyans.’ Cebu/Mactan is centered in the middle of the Visayas, which is a section of the Philippines speaking primarily Visayan, English, and Tagalog. Everywhere we go people are able to speak English, they say hello, wave, etc. I’ve been told everyone speaks English ... read more

(Please keep in mind this is during and post trip) Aug 17th 2008. Later that day we all ate at the Blue Marlin beach club, which is this nice semi-upscale isolated location close to our villa. It was great; we all had some fresh sushi, drinks, and probably spent a good 5 hours there before heading back to the villa to relax. It was Sunday evening and we decided to pace ourselves before the week, so we all sat in the moonlight, chatted a bit before calling it a night. Monday some of us decided to go into Ibiza town and shop around. It was nice as I never really been to Ibiza town, so it was good to wake up early enough and tour around. In Spain, everything starts later so there’s no concept ... read more

Ibiza - Balearic Islands Here's the first entry from my blog I'm taking some time to write, starting with a couple weeks back during the trip sometime mid-August. **** So here I am for the third time on the island of Ibiza. I got here Friday afternoon from LAX via Amsterdam. I then boarded a private jet on the other side of Schipol airport with a few people and I swear I wanted to pinch myself. I am so stoked to be back here. The flight only took a couple hours down to the island passing over France, and it was nice to reminisce on the frequent trips I use to make. , I managed to get some sleep on the jet and took some awesome aerial shots of Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza town right ... read more

Monday, May 12, 2008 Ensenada Mexico to Joshua Tree to Chicago and back to San Diego in one week! Current mood: anxious Last Friday night I was at Tentation and they had a gogo competition in which I won first. I never win competitions, or let's just say I rarely win anything I enter in, so for me to actually win this, I was stoked. It was by crowd participation and I don't really know anyone in Orange County so for me to win was awesome. I danced my arse off to say the least. Money well earned. I haven't written much of blog since my trip to Acapulco, which was back in March. Not much went on in April and this month has been steadily busy, this week especially. Last week I submitted for a ... read more

Thursday, March 27, 2008 Acapulco Adventure Category: Travel and Places This is a few months back when I wrote this along with some of my entries, please keep in mind the location, and date. *********************************************************************************** Typing this back in San Diego after my trip to Acapulco, Mexico. Anyway, so I completely thought we were leaving Thursday morning to Acapulco when in fact it was Wednesday night. I had just went to a model fitting in Del Mar at a designers house, was on my way back to my place to go out with my girlfriends before leaving when my friend Carlos called me telling me he was on his way to come pick us up. Completely baffled, I flew home whilst my gas tank told me E! I completely did not pay attention to the flight ... read more

Wednesday, December 05, 2007 Another Blog from Xiamen....end of the tour Current mood: fabulous Category: Travel and Places Dec 4th, 2007 Hey hey hey......it's 11:15 pm here in Xiamen and the tour is over! Yay!!!! Finally......The tour was an experience foooo shooo! We did a few gigs here in Xiamen at YoYo, U2, and Abar. YoYo was cool, the set up was cool but again the Coors reps here were drunk and stupid, it was a hard trance night so we were dancing pretty hard. We brought ourselves a little traveller as well that consisted of Brandy and 7up. Lacie and I don't drink beer so the traveller did us well, everytime the Coors guys weren't looking, we were pouring shots of our mix to get a buzz on. We figured we might as well get ... read more

Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Guanghzou, Nanan, Xiamen....more cities on the Coors tour in China Hello to all....It's been a few days from the last time I wrote and that was in Guangzhou where we had a bit of a scuffle at the club with the way we were being treated, the Chinese men here seem to think it's ok to treat woman like inferiors beings (unless it's women with connections in the government to solitify their social status or any other way of requiring respect of others that is not in the typical daily life). I just observe everything around and take it all in and it's how I react to it that's going to make the rest of trip interesting. Interesting it is...... Where to start.........ok so the last time I wrote it was from ... read more

Thursday, November 22, 2007 Xiamen, Fujian, Guangzhou....Coors tour Hello from I have no idea where I'm at in China..... The last I left off was me in bed at 5:45 am in Xiamen. Xiamen is an island inbetween mainland and Taiwan that is very clean. It reminds me of Miami because of the set up around the coast and the buildings. For those who have never visited China before, I can't describe to you the architect and design of some of the buildings. It seriously is magnificent how people come up with the design of the buildings and the cost to develop them I'm sure is dirt cheap as well. Our hotel for the night was ok, it wasn't anything plush but it worked. What was bad about it though is at 6:45 am in the ... read more
