dogwoods Did you learn that the dogwoods are a symbol of Easter? Probably because the flower is in the form of a cross and typically blooms around Easter. I think to live in a part of the country that has dogwoods and boxwoods is almost like heaven will be.
Did you get anywhere near Longview, TX - Letourneau University? That's where our daughter went to school and where our oldest grandchild was born.
Blessings on all your work.

Hi, Carrell! My sister has wisteria on her gazebo, and that was my first experience with it. Someone told me her daughter had it in her wedding bouquet~~how beautiful would that be! I love it.
I'm glad spring is in Montana; you guys deserve it. I loved your description of the pheasants!
flowers So beautiful. We used to have wisteria growing over our arbor in WA - It's smell reminds me of a mixture of popcorn and lilacs. I love it and miss it. Our oldest granddaughter was born in TX, and we have a picture of her as a toddler sitting in a field of bluebells.
Spring has sprung in MT, too. No flowers, but the birds are back. No goldfinches yet, but have several blue jays and saw some waxwings last week. The robins are singing their hearts out, and the cock pheasants are strutting their stuff and making the usual morning racket.
Have a Blessed Easter!!
Indian Paintbrush I think the Bitterroot is Montana's state flower, not the Indian Paintbrush. But maybe in Eastern Montana, it is the paintbrush. Thanks for the flower pictures. I never get tired of flowers!!
Another learning moment Keep up your touring and we all will have more knowledge. I remember when we seen the cotton fields in AZ many years ago. Alvin took the girls out into the field and they brought the pods home for show and tell.
Easter Blessings to you.
Love and Hugs

Hi, Lisa! Wouldn't it be fun to stay in that house? But the thing is, nearly any place on this camp would be just as wonderful to stay in!
AND don't make fun of my dead tree fixation!
:) Once that lake house is done I want to move in ok!
OH and that fog picture is beautiful, but it reminded me of the dead tree pic you didnt want me to get you from the second hand store! :)
Hi, Diana! I've spent enough years in Montana to know you may not be done with the snow yet!! It's great to hear from you, though, and to hear things are going well. Give Bill a hug for us.
Green Trees??? We are just getting rid of the snow. We have had 3 lovely days in the low 70˚s Don't you miss Montana????
We may be taking a quick trip to Hemet the beginning of April for a few days - hope to see our Granddaughter and her new husband Jacob Lossing!!!! They are living in Fayetteville, NC and will be there for a few days. Then we are planning on toddling over to Phoenix for a few days and then on home. Just the car and 2 dogs. Leave the cats home
Miss you guys
Loveyou
Diana
Tour Guide I really enjoyed the church tour. We just seen the seminary chapel in Denver, John Meyer was our guide. Breath taking and awesome. Bob-- you remember that even a christain group creates stress. I am not certain if I should say congratulations but I know that you are doing God's work. Just spent the weekend with Christie, we come home to rest. Love Bev
Hi, Margo! Isn't that true about the "old" church in NS~~the new one doesn't have any of that feeling of old style reverence. I don't know how to describe the feeling that I'm talking about. It was much larger than the NS church, though. But yes, about the other one looking like the Abbey chuch. (The abbey is bigger.) Did they remind you of the cathedral you took gramma through?
Hi, Patti! I think the High Hill church was my favorite, although I did like the one in Praha. But I also liked the one in Dubina...there, does that clear it up for you!! Yes, we did sit and just appreciate the effort that went into them, to honor God. I'm glad enjoyed them, too.
Hi, Lois! If what Wayne read is true, these people could live in very fancy houses and still not be as nice as their churches!
What's new with Wayne? Where are you?
churches Thanks for sharing the photos of the churchs. A couple of them reminded me of the church in Richardton and the one smaller one (with the choir loft) reminded me of the old Catholic church in New Salem.
Oh my Gosh Vicki!! How did you keep your hands from touching everything? And did you figure out all the painting techniques so you can do it? They are so gorgeous!! (sp?) And I am so glad you have a camera that can pick up so many details. Although I'll bet you probably remember seeing so many more details than the pictures reveal. Didn't you want to just sit and look and look and look? Which one was your favorite?
Like the collection Hi, I like your collection of the churches. Wow, I would say all of them are better than most of our homes. Wayne was just reading the people will not go to a church that is poorer in style and looks than their own home. I wonder if that is true.
We retired the end of 2006, and started traveling the country, working with RVICS~~Roving Volunteers in Christ's Service. (Pronounced R-VICS.) We live and travel in our motor home, and work at Christian camps, schools and conference centers accross the country. RVICS isn't affiliated with one denomination; rather, it's a Christ faith based ministry. We don't travel as a group, but whoever is assigned to a particular project meets up on the beginning date. We're on each project about four weeks.
