Pictures of Holly Bring back Many memories Your pictures of the Holly brings back so many memories for me. With my relatives that lived in Tacoma and the surrounding area, many had holly bushes and trees. My Grandma would send us some every Christmas. I miss that so much now that she isn't with us any longer. Those little things are such special touches in our traditions. The pictures of the mountain tops also remind me of how the weather was so many times when we visited there.
holly bushes And Bob didn't think he would like the East Coast. We have holly bushes growing in our yard. I went to the garden nursery to purchase trees and plants when we moved here. I was shocked to see one of the trees that many people plant is a holly tree. We also know when winter is approaching because everyone plants petunias! Terrific pictures thanks for sharing.
Luv Ya Back with you and trying to keep up with you! Things are gradually quieting down and people actually think I can be alone for awhile and I appreciate that! Think of you daily!
glad to see you again I'm so glad to see you again. I was getting worried, I kept checking your blog and didn't see anything since you left Canada. You both look so happy and healthy, keep up the good work and keep having fun. Love, Aunt Margo!
We're finally with you!! Add me to the list of lst time bloggers. Patti got me set up so now I feel really technically alert!! Fun to read all about you guys and your adventures. Keep up the good works!!
It's nice to see that your blog is in working order again! We enjoy following your travels -
Sorry we weren't able to meet up this summer - guess it wasn't meant to be!
Enjoy your stay in Washington - keep the stories and pictures coming!!
Love you, Brian and Shari
At last Hello!!!! I finally had a chance to sit down and go through your entries. I still have a grin pasted on my face! I was concerned that you were taking the extra seating from the auditorium back to your camper!! Waste not, want not! Reading your blogs is like having a short visit with you on a daily basis! I will be checking in more often! I think of you both all the time!
enjoying the news We are enjoying the entries each day. It sounds like you are doing well. We have always wanted to go to the Calgery Stampede. Some day I am sure we will. I was surprised it was too hot to go to the parade. Being so far north seems like it would be cooler. The dinner threater reminded me of the one we all went to at Fort Peck. They didn't have dinner so this one was even more fancy. I was wondering what was for dinner? I'm still using things I would have bought in 1979. I think they are a little out of touch of what old is. Is there a way to see your photo album? I mean all your photos or are they viewed just on that certain day. Keep up the great work. You are doing a good job keeping it interesting. We will be looking forward to your next adventure. Hugs around, we send our love.
Beautiful scenery You are right, they are gorgeous. I keep thinking how great it is to be having more "firsts" in you lives. As a (retired) teacher, don't you keep feeling like you should be taking notes and pictures to add to your classes?
What????????? Ok, you say you saw the Good Doctor. I think that means you saw a show called the Good Doctor, or does it mean you had an appointment with a "ggod Doctor"? Did you go with friends or just the two of you? Tell me what you miss most about us????????
July 4th Sorry you missed out on July 4th. It was my first one in the states and it was truly amazing how much it is celebrated. The whole Sidney skyline ws lit up for at least 1 hour with fireworks. I think the amount of money spent could fund Canada for a year. Anyhow it was awesome. Serving God always carry a price. Thanks for being willing to pay it.

I just read all of your entries and glad you are seeing the sun before 8. Mornings really are the best! Did you send your blog address to all the "verse a day" people? If not would you like me too? I know everyone would like to hear about your adventures.
Hey. just checked your blog site and found out that you made it safely. It will be fun to keep up on all your news. So, do all libraries have back rooms? Was it as full as ours usually is? At least you have experience in cleaning them out. Alls well in Sidney, haven't been to pizza lately.
There are three couples on this project, and we're parked in a nice grassy site that the college has.
Our morning devotions are done by a different member of the RVICS team, so whatever that person selects is what the daily devotion is. On Wednesday evenings we have a Bible study which is lead by someone from the project...in this case, it's lead by the college president.
We are feeling great, although I'd have to admit, Sara is right about the getting up part! 6:45 comes early!
I'm working on getting photos in here...that's a little trickier..... :)
At last! You are there at last....horray!
How fun, you are my first blog to read and respond to....I feel so sophisticated.
All is well here, we seem to be in a thunder storm rut, some hail last week here, Glascow lost windows, roofs, crops, Forsyth lost lots of crops.
It is muggy but oh so green.
Jill and I decided we are in denial that you will be gone for ever....we are thinking you will keep turning up here from time to time.....that is a command not a suggesstion!!!.
Lots of love,
Chris
Hugs to You!! Thank you so much for your entries. Keep it up even if they are short. It shortens the distance so much and feels like a warm hug. We miss you and pray each day for you and your ministering. I don't see any pictures! Yes Calgary is big it was big when we were there and that was a long time ago. How many couples will you be working with? Are you devotions on random areas or focussed on certain scriptures? Where are you parked? Is everyone parked in the same area or are you scattered? How are you feeling physically? Emotionally? Spiritually?
Love and kisses, Patti
We retired the end of 2006, and started traveling the country, working with RVICS~~Roving Volunteers in Christ's Service. (Pronounced R-VICS.) We live and travel in our motor home, and work at Christian camps, schools and conference centers accross the country. RVICS isn't affiliated with one denomination; rather, it's a Christ faith based ministry. We don't travel as a group, but whoever is assigned to a particular project meets up on the beginning date. We're on each project about four weeks.
If you are interested in more information on RVICS, please log on to: rvics.com, or contact u... full info

He definitely seems to have that look on his face doesn't he? It's almost like reminding you that this is the MENS' domain, Woman!!
