Great Trip
As usual we thoroughly enjoyed following the blog each day. We have been to Quebec City but only on a cruise so we had one day there. Wish we had done it like you did. It is a beautiful city but it requires more than a day to absorb it all. I think we are going to quit planning our own trips and just follow you two around, you always have such a good time. You'll be glad to come home to more pleasant temperatures and we have had a lot of rain the past few days. Welcome back and this may sound weird but we can't wait for you to go somewhere else. LOL!!

Concorde Hotel
You two have covered so much of Quebec City! I might have to make notes and go back there again and see the things I missed! When I was there a few years ago, my friend and I stayed at the Concorde Hotel. We stayed in a room on a very high floor looking out towards the Frontenac Hotel. A great place to stay. I would like to know if you had any Poutine while in Quebec? It originated in Quebec. I know you can only so much, so maybe you couldn’t fit it in. Ha ha

Poutine!
Yes we did have Poutine and it was delicious. We didn’t realize it originated in Quebec. I think I posted a picture of it the first day or two we were there.

Love the French!
We also had a very positive experience with the French both in Quebec, Paris and Provence. They were always helpful whenever we needed assistance. Quebec is a charming city that everyone should explore. Congrats on making fond memories!

What a city.
I had no clue. Only one day there taking a cruise years ago. What a fabulous city and you did it right. Thx for sharing.

We had no idea either, but Quebec City has turned out to be one of the nicest cities in North America we have ever visited. Glad you enjoyed the blog.

Another Great Day
I am so glad you are getting so much nice sunshine. The pieces of bakery are so very large they should be selling them at half the size. I also would have loved the fish and chips place. Loved the cruise ship picture looked like a Princess ship. The buildings and streets are yes very very old. I loved the modern museum. The Ferry ride you had a nice sunny day. You are planning your trip just right. I wanted to tell you that I will be at church Tuesday night for the Fred Rogers dinner and movie. Wasn't that a great sermon from Jacob yesterday. I ran into Judy and Jerry at church and she said you were coming home on Tuesday evening. Enjoy the rest of your adventures today and tomorrow. Love you both bunches. Lora

You guys are nothing if not thorough! You put us to shame. I have to admit I spend a lot of my time in new city doing what I do best. Shop!! It’s an art form.

Churches are great
I think the Cathedral was fabulous the other one was very nice. Looks like you are really enjoying your trip. I have found that all our trips to Canada the country is well run and they have pride in there land. They love flowers despite the short growing season. It is pouring rain now we need it to cool us off. Church service tomorrow I am looking forward to Jacob’s service. You can watch on I pad when you get home. Enjoy you next adventure tomorrow.

Street Advertisements
Loved the comfort station, paper add.

So glad you enjoyed the ‘hoppy’ bus tour. I wish Paul and I thought to do that when we were there. I think you are showing great restraint considering the temptations you are confronted with. Hourly! I usually gain about five pounds, then spend the next six months trying to take it off. And when, I mean , really, WHEN are you ever going to have croissants that good again? Eat up.

I am really enjoying your blog. Quebec City is beautiful and there is a lot to do and a lot of steps to walk. Some of your pictures remind me of the Canada pavilion at Epcot. And there were a lot of stairs at that pavilion, so it all makes sense now. Happy Friday!

Messed up breakfast
Now I know why I did not have my morning blog, you ate too much. Try better Patsy!!!!!! Love the pictures & have you found me a clock yet? Favorite B I L

Wow
The falls are beautiful. Did you hike up those steep stairs? Glad you are having a great trip!
19th July 2019

We didn’t climb those but did quite a few on our side. Steps everywhere here.

Wish I was there!
It looks like you two have done so much in a short time! It brings back memories reading what you are doing. I feel it in my feet just at the thought! Ha ha Try to go for a walk on top of the Wall around the City, or even just part of it, it’s a nice view from there. The soft vanilla ice cream is very good there if you need a sweet treat. Trevor would have liked to be with you having some of that Black Cherry Cheesecake!!! Did you know that the little White House with the Red roof in your photo is the oldest house in Canada, I think. It’s over 400 years old. Looks like you are having great weather! We are having so much rain in British Columbia. Have another great day. I looking forward to reading about it and seeing the photos!

Thanks Debbie!
No, we did not know the history of the house you mentioned. We have noticed it several times but had yet to walk across the street and read the information. We do plan to do a wall walk one day. LOVE this city!
