Admittedly, while long, it was one of the least eventful flights on record. Of course, I took my NyQuil, curled up into the fetal position and slept 90% of the way. I woke up feeling almost human - or at least like the possibility of being human again exists. :-) So, all in all, I've been great company. :-) The Taipei airport is all but shut down although they are playing English Christmas music incessantly. Yeah. We did meet a couple of other Americans going to Bangkok and have traded travel war stories and discussions regarding where the best hot showers will be. Welcome! The mere fact that I'm able to take the time to set this up should tell you that I've got prepartions pretty much under control. Well, that and the fact that I'm not moving off my couch a whole lot right now as I wrap up my bout of Influenza A. My timing is, as ever, well conceived.
