Peaceful I can feel from here that it looks so peaceful.
Please, please can we have some of your sunshine - we are getting very fed up with the ice and slushy snow - snowed again last night so we walked to the Talbot as roads were closed - guess what - they had shut as well!! - So had to walk home without the benefit of a cup of coffee! I loved the piccies of the Giant Panda's - can't wait for your blog each day!
Love Mum xxxxxxx
Wish i was there It's good that you are enjoying the atmosphere of the city. I must say i am very jealous right now, seeing that you have had a truly moving experience on your travels. I know i would have loved to of been there to see the pandas in real life, pictures and words just can't compare to real life. Try to wake up before midday. :-}
Beautiful Sights I am glad to read that you are having good experiences. The spring festival sounds like a great tim, i am sad to read of the cruel animal conditions however it will do no good to proest and get yourself in trouble. Hope th goodtims continu.
cool! Have to say am very jealous of you getting to see the Terracota warriors, though a shame xi'an isn't so nice.
Can I be a pain? Thanks to your instructions I now kow how to upload photos but how do I position them in the blog? They just dump themselves all over the page!
Xian Loved the warriors - we did try and book to go there are few years ago - but ended up elsewhere - should have pushed for this. Have u managed to get to a cinema yet out there?
Warriors Wow Sorry to read that the smog seems pretty much permenant there. However the terracotta warriors dig site looks very impressive. Also the traditional performance looked like it was an experince to be appreciated and well remembered.
Hope you see many more new and fascinating sites, and the fog clears.
wow! Im free from exams...which means i can now look at all ur pics wiv alittle less jealousy! the teracotta warriors looked amazing! has the weather improved? its been snowing here! lol
Ceri I've discovered you blog! Yo Cez and The Darklord!
You look great in the empress gear, very forbidden palace!

No mad partaying or strange dressing up sessions now you're gone! I know this is an entry on an earlier blog, but hey, i ain't sussed this out yet, (anologue mind versus digital equipment!).
I believe you're on a train journey tonight, off to xanadu or some place beginning with an 'x'... sleep well, stay tall!
Love from yer Uncle Dinx!

Walking on Water Don't tell me u have 2 walk across the ice in Sixhou street to get on the boat! Not sure I would dare to do that either - Looks cold!
Really wish I was there with u! Love u lots - specially the Empress!! Mumxx
Majestic Hi All. Ceri, you look magnificent as the Empress. Buy the outfit! It will catch on in the Manchester Club scene, i'm sure.
Thanks for all the pics from Bejing. Glad you enjoyed the experience and onwards to ..........where exactly?
Speak soon Mumxxxxxxxxxxxx
Skating on thin ice Finished my current duty of night slaving and unable to sleep.....wish you two were here.........house going to rack and ruin (sic).....just ruin!!!
Have you told them yet they celebrate New Year on the wrong day?.... and why haven't you organised the population yet? Looking forward to world harmonisation along Polefield princilpes....ahem....not sure that would lead to peace and harmony but at least no non Mostonian power would dare to challenge the authority of the 'We can walk on water too' Trio.
Missing the powers of the Dark Mark, Ceriteena and Bingo Meister......did you know we are `officially' in a Depression in the UK?
Happy hunting in economies less stressed.....enjoy.
All is well,
Miss you,
Simon XXX
Great pics again Hi! I'm really impressed with the photos (well done Mark!) and with how well you're keeping the blog - I'm going to write up my trip once I get back.
I hope you're having a great time - it certainly looks it. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Japan.
Stunning Hi all. What a stunning place. The Ice Buildings look amazing and the olympic stadium looks like a birds nest- has anyone else noticed that?
Green tea ice cream sounds so good for you!
Great to chat today. Missing you and Mark. The house is very quiet without you, but so disorganised. Roll on June!
Is Aaron a little apprehensive about flying home alone, and has he got anyone to meet him at the airport? Let us know if our services are required.
Speak soon and looking forward to more T-Shirt and kippen pics. Mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
From Grandparents Rowley I hear you are having a marvelous time. Grandad says bet you are cold coz your hair is short. Grandad asks if Ceri wants his slippers
Take care, keep on enjoying yourself. Hope it is not too cold for you, learn some new card games...
WOW!!!!! I am soooooo.....jealous. It looks fantastic. Mind you, I would prefer +20 degrees. Hope Mark and Aaron are wearing an extra layer too.
By the way, teeth out and teeth in. Very sore but probably worth it. Will let you know.
Will speak on Sunday. 9.30pm your time. Mum xxxxxx
Happy New Year! I love your commentary - it feels as though we are all here with you - and are enjoying everything you are (except of course the freezing temperatures!) Still a bit of snow makes it festive
