Good writer and good pics We were in the Philippines last year at this time, but did not get north of Manila. We are enjoying your great descriptions and pictures. Looking forward to your Bohol trip, as we could not get a plane there, instead we went to Sabang in Mindoro. My husband was born in Manila, but it was his first trip back in 60 years. Your pictures bring back good memories.
Hi from Bruce Hello Ramon! Thanks for the msg. I am coming to Cebu earlier than expected, hopefully by this Thursday. I can't wait to see meet you guys! Donald is doing well, and anxiously awaiting my return home. Although I am enjoying the WOW of the Philippines, I too am looking forward to being back home with Don!
Welcome to the Philippines! Yes Bruce, in the Philippines pedestrians don't have the right of way unlike in Singapore or your place . Hehe... so when are you coming to Cebu? How is Donald doing? :-)
Been there! Hey Bruce, I wasn't getting your emails with blog updates, but today I did. Btw, I have been to Baguio City and 100 Islands...brings back memories! In fact, I ate at the same food court at the 4 story mall you were talking about...lol Small world...we should meet sometime! lol
Take care and great pics!
Hugs,
Angela Marie
Fun in Luzon Bruce,
Sounds like you are having a blast on your trip thus far! And it's great to have all the connections of people and friends along the way!! Some of your descriptions are reminding me of my time in the Philippines. It's been awhile now, so you're dusting off my mind a little. Blessings as you continue to travel...
Hi from LaUnion Hi Mikel. Thank for the recommendations. Wish I could . . . Actually had already read up on Puerto Galera and Palawan, and wished I could squeeze them into this current trip. In place of Puerto Galera, I'll soon be on the resort island of Boracay. I'm still planning on arriving on Thursday, 1 Feb at 4:05pm at Kalibo on Cebu Pacific Airlines flight # 5J343 (from Manila). :)
The Austrias Wow, I only knew how to add comments just now. So glad to hear that you're having a blast. Wish you were here but happy to know that the adventure in Luzon is going very well. Also happy to read your comments and journals. I'm checking everyday for updates. Cheers!
Safe Travels, Brucie! What a cool idea this blog was--I love it! Cant wait to hear all about your adventures...You missed the BIG 1 inch snowstorm--ha ha! (As a native Buffalonian, I laugh at this phenomenon!)
