Sunday afternoon, 21 Jan, 12:20 Manila time.
I hope to have a Philippine cell phone tomorrow .... if not, then next week some time. You can email or leave msg on this blog, and I'll see it whenever I can access an internet cafe. You can also text message me on my North Carolina cell phone number, too. That seems quite reliable now.

Hi Mikel. Thank for the recommendations. Wish I could . . . Actually had already read up on Puerto Galera and Palawan, and wished I could squeeze them into this current trip. In place of Puerto Galera, I'll soon be on the resort island of Boracay. I'm still planning on arriving on Thursday, 1 Feb at 4:05pm at Kalibo on Cebu Pacific Airlines flight # 5J343 (from Manila). :)
