a stop off at Mui Ne is the perfect way to break up the long bus ride to Ho Chi Minh City (formally Saigon). also, we had heard that the sea breeze in combination with the mountain range protected this city from the rain... wrong! the rain seems to be following us... this town is spread out along the coast, and everything is very spaced out. soooo, we decided to rent a motorbike! it was quite funny, and they were not the least bit concerned that we had NO idea how to work/drive it. but hey, worked out. the first day we only had a few hours of daylight, so we 'motoed,' as they say here, to a red river in search of 'fairy springs.' we didn't have much info on getting there, but when the
