Geo: 6.62, 100.07I celebrated New Year initially a day early with the shipyard crew which turned out to be great. Everyone knocked off at 3 o'clock and we had arranged food, drinks and karaoke fun. The boat, shed and surrounds were all cleaned ready for the new year and everything ship shape before we left, not due back until 4th January!One of the local ladies organised the spread which was impressive, from BBQ fish, chicken, squid, mussels, vegetables, local fish balls, sausages etc. to fried rice, noodle dishes, tom yam and chicken coconut soups, plain rice, veggies, and an array of fruits, it looked fabulous.Not only did many of the workers come but their families too which was good fun, there must have been around 80 of them.
