Argh, all that rushing out the door first thing in the morning to get to the airport, only to sit around and wait. And wait. And wait. Waiting for the flight to board took longer then the flight itself! I was bummed that, for the first time on my journey, I didn't have the window seat. Because, as we cruised at 35,000 feet, I glanced out the window and saw a mountain, my first Himalaya, which looked like it was at the same level as our plane! I had to strain around the dumb people sitting next to me, who barely glanced out the window right next to them, even though they had, like me, traveled all the way from the U.S. on their first trip to Nepal.
