Let me explain. There's a few reasons for our title, none of which mean we didn't enjoy our time in Japan. We enjoyed it immensely. We did find, however, that we had a bit more trouble communicating while we were in this country than we have had in other countries on our trip. First of all, on a purely logistic basis -- our mobiles and Blackberrys didn't work in Japan! Plus, Ted's laptop died and he had to have it sent back to the Sony factory to be fixed, so we didn't have his laptop for our time in Japan.
