First time travellers to Japan need advice on best arrangements during F1 weekend in October.

It will be our first time in Japan this October and first in our itinerary is to watch the Formula 1 race at Suzuka. A couple of questions: is it more practical to stay in Nagoya and just take the train to the track daily, or stay somewhere closer to the Suzuka track? Reply to this

Sorry, I have no idea about Nagoya city, hope someone helps you.

Here is a little clue to commute between the two places.
The Kintetsu line takes you to Shirako station where is the nearest station to the Suzuka Circuit.
It takes about 40 minutes, and 1670yen by TOKKYU( Express train).
There are taxis(15minutes),and buses(20minutes) two times per hour to the circuit.
So, you can enjoy night life in Nagoya.

This is Nagoya Information NAVI in English.
