And at last we leave the cities behind to look for Indian tigers - well it would be rude to at least not look but we're not expecting to see any - especially as we're traveling around in a diesel truck - I don’t think we'll be creeping up on too many tigers in this thing, especially with 20 other camera clicking tourists, but as I said before - you have to try. So we get up at stupid o'clock in the morning and join all the other excited tourists and head off to the national park just before dawn where we are greeted by plenty of salesmen all trying to sell jackets and shirts all covered in tigers - there may just be tigers in here after all…
So we head off into the park and it's not long to see what's know as tiger food, commonly known as deer, surprisingly they don’t seem too bothered by the bus so who knows - the search continues but alas we only see more food ranging from wild boars, crocodiles and monkeys - who to be honest seemed pre-occupied with other activities to worry about Tony the Tiger creeping up. The closest we actually came to seeing a tiger was a tiger footprint although we suspect one of the many park rangers was actually wearing tiger slippers and had previously walked around the park to give the impression that there were actually tigers in the park - oh well, once again maybe next time… We also have the rest of the day to amuse ourselves and with all the fly's by the pool and with there not being a lot to do and no power for the TV, cabin fever begins to set in… aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
