After a lovely overnight stay at The Claridge. ..well apart from a dodgy tummy. ...we left at 9am with our new driver Raj to Mandala 260kms and 6 hours from Delhi. Being a Saturday morning (16th) the traffic was relatively light getting out of Delhi and we were soon on the open road on the way to Mandawa . You may ask why 6 hours for 260kms, but we soon found out...the road was atrocious and in parts there was do much dust that we could not see in front of us. It was a local holiday in India so the hotel was very busy with lots of Indian families. That night we had dinner at the hotel.... read more
