Jingzhou Overview My adventure in Hubei province seemed to be a reprieve from Shenzhen's busy lifestyle and a chance to refocus myself in a peaceful surroundings but that's just the start of my time here. My path lead me by train from Xiantao to Jingzhou, which is a city filled with historical importance and sights of the ancient times of China. With nothing but advice on which bus to take from the train station to reach the downtown area, I was free to explore. Jingzhou’s Ancient City Wall Upon the second day, I jumped off at the second stop that was after slipping under the arches of Jingzhou’s Ancient City Wall. My luck had brought me to the correct place as I found the main site for this ancient structure after a short walk along the great structure. The walkway upon the wall itself is divided into two sections; stairs for pedestrian soldiers and the Horse Way for mounted soldiers plus to ease transporting supplies along the wall. The view of other ancient style architecture houses can be noticed from the area above the gates and some sections of the wall.
