The most beautiful city is Prague or Venezia in Europe. Prague has a great center and atmosphere. I live here already for 4 years and I have to confirm it is still the most beautiful city I have ever seen. And it is very very cheap! Check the website

I've got to agree with Ricky66 it has to be Rome, unfortunately when I visited I hadn't travelled much and wasn't really into photography as much as I am now so didn't get many pictures :-(

It made such an impression my fiancee and I we have decided to tour Italy for our honeymoon next year, the plan for our honeymoon is Verona, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Pompeii, Herculaneum and then the Amalfi Coast.

What an awesome honeymoon!!!

Sorry to drift away from the subject a little but def Rome :-)

Secondly I'd say London but to see it at it's best you need to see it at night in the winter with a walk along the Thames River, when London is lit up without a million tourists around you can really take in the sights. But during the day it's a pain in the back side lol. Reply to this

Bangkok,
Khaosan road also is well-known for backpackers to stay the first place after arrive to Thailand. When they want to go to the other place, it’s easy to find the tour guide to the other place such as Koh Samui, PHuket or Koh Tao. On the other hand, if they want to stay in Bangkok, this place is very helpful for them to save cost because the accommodation price just starts at USD 13-15 per night.

In my humble opinion, I used to think that Prague was the most beautiful city, with Madrid and Paris close behind. However, my list has been changed after visiting San'a in Yemen a couple of months ago - the Old City of San'a is like nothing else on earth. Reply to this

I've been to a lot of the cities mentioned and all have their merits, but judging on the sole criterion, fraction of population that are tourists at any given time, Venice must win hands down.

Beautiful is a difficult word. For me, Hong Kong is the best city in the world overall, although it might be argued that cities like Vienna, Tallinn, Prague or Bruges (or many old European cities for that matter), are prettier due to their historic buildings. Reply to this

A few posters made the comment beauty is not singular. There are many beautiful cities in the world. Hey try La Paz Bolivia. Beautiful or weird. Make sure you are in great physical shape as this city is above the clouds and most first timers simply run out of oxygen. When the sun hits the rocks, and carved walls of time the city looks like it sits in a crater just waiting for take off. La Paz opens the door on Boliva and indeed Bolivia has contrasts worthy of travel. Reply to this
