We didn't really want to leave Yamba all of us really enjoyed it and I dont think 2 nights was enough, but still, we were looking forward to the next few places. Our next stop was Broadbeach! We got to stop at Byron Bay along the way too somewhere we really wanted to see as so many people had told us about it. We didn't really stay long though Brad was suffering from a bit of sunburn and it was a really really hot day so I'd definitely like to go back one day for a visit. So after staying with Cindy and Aaron, Bronwyn picked me up and took me back to her place. Bronwyn is a friend I met in London when we both lived there, and she now lives in Brisbane with her husband Wayne. Bron took me into the city and we walked around for a couple of hours. We wandered along the river, and walked down Queen St mall which was great. Her and Wayne's house is lovely, and is about 25-30 mins out of the city centre. We did a bit of looking around their area, which is really lovely with lots of trees and parks everywhere. It really didn't seem like we were in the centre of Brisbane. Day 64 - Melbourne to Brisbane (with Virgin Blue) Our flight is at noon from the Virgin Blue terminal in Melbourne. We’re up early and the final puppy watch went beautifully without so much as a whimper! We’re packed up with time to spend with the girls and Anna before we need to head off, Grants gone back to bed bless him! We fit the Beanie Kids back in the hand luggage so they can come with us during the remainder of our trip and promise to take some great snaps. We say a sad farewell to everyone, we’ve only been back a couple of days but we’re very fond of them all so it’s a big tug on the heart strings to be leaving again. I got up...yep, that says it all pretty much doesn't it!!! I spent the morning plotting the next few weeks of my Brisbane experience checking out coach fares and accommodation possibilities in Chinchilla and also places of interest on the Sunshine and Gold Coasts. After watching Macgyver once again save the world, I watched the Aussies win the cricket for the second game in succession...it's like the old adage, one doesn’t turn up for ages...then two turn up at once!! I have toothache again tonight, nowhere near as bad as the Malaysian agony but bad enough to warrant a couple of painkillers, oh please let me have a decent nights kip!!!
