It’s hard to believe that two months have passed since I arrived in this quaint corner of England. And all that time without a blog entry…shameful I know…but with my departure now imminent I felt it high time to give you all some details of my daily life in the villages of East Anglia. And yes, I do mean villages. As in a severe lack of modern conveniences, thatched roof cottages, and an extremely large rabbit population. I live in the middle of an apple orchard, in the shadow of the Copella fruit juice factory, whose gentle humming lulls me to sleep every night. Kate went home early in the morning, and then we went and caught the train as well. We were heading to Colchester to see Cherita (Dad’s cousin) and Gerry. We had to catch the train in to Liverpool Street and then back out to Colchester. The train was running a bit late, but when we arrived Cherita and Gerry were patiently waiting for us. Cherita has been fantastic for us this year, checking to see if everything is ok, and whether there is anything she can do for us. We went out for lunch chatting away and catching up. After lunch we went back to Cherita and Gerry’s house in Dedham which is a lovely area, and is exactly how I pictured the English countryside. well im leaving today so i thought i'd get the first of many blogs in. I'll be well excited if anyone actualy gets to read this. Im on the plane tonight at 10pm and land in bangkok tomorrow at some point. AAnyway as i said in my email i sent most people i really have to pack and i mean that from the bottom of my heart.
