well so much has happened since i last wrote. I'm now in brisbane where the weather is much better. Still not overly hot bu definately not raining so thats cool. It took about 14 hours to get here from sydney. we left at about 5 in the evening and i drove straight through until 4am! Kipped in a layby where i thought we were going to get killed but an outback oz carzed man and then back in the car for 9am! It was one hell of a long arse night to say the least! i havent written for a while so i thought i'd just keep you guys up to date on my movements. Well, this evening i am driving a car up to brisbane! Well, i'm not about to do it in one sitting as it takes like 11 hours so i imagine i'll kip over somewhere but yeah, hard core driving coming my way! Looking forward to it. Spending the long weekend (bank holiday on monday, for the queens birthday!!!) in brisbane avec beauregarde and then travelling to cairns, seeking out the warmer weather-very cold and rainy in new south wales! as you may have guessed from the title of my blog im in sydney! hurrah! And my golly gosh its lovely. even though ive been here last year i was still taken back by just how beautiful it is. And so much better than perh. Perth is backwards, like the pubs somedays shut at 10pm! Here though everything is in order, we can drink until we drop! Went to the aquarium the other day, found nemo etc etc. Other than that im just starting to look for a job, have an interview tomorrow and one the day after as well, then to find somehere to live and i'll b set! why me? thats all i ask. Now those of you who know me know that im always the one who gets bitten to shreds on holiday while everyone else leaves unscathed. well this has reached new grounds. Not only did i get bitten in thailand (over 100 bites, will out ic on soon i promise) but just my luck i have been staying in a bed with bed bugs. I dpnt know if thats the official term for them but basically they are transported through travellers and into the matresses and then bite the living shit out of anyone is lies on that bed and it would be fucking me wouldnt it. well im here. Im in perth and its pretty nice. Have spent the last weekend with beau in a 4.5 star hotel, courtesy of him, excellent but fret not everyone who is reading this, we are not a couple. Just friends. It was very nice to see him and if you want any of the detailed information, you know my email address. But im fine, just trying to sort bank account and things. Looking into getting a car and just starting to look for a job, maybe a bit of fruit picking, who knows! Anyway just thought id wrie as id been absent for a while. well im here. arrived last night and am stayin with mels dad in this very plush apartment hotel thing with all the mod cons a girl could ask for. Its also hot here and busy. Its another culture shock coming from somewhere where you have to manually flush your toilet to here, where is all technoligically advanced and stuff. its cool. If im honest im missing koh phanagan a lttile bit. Only a little because im not letting myself think about it oo much but david i think youll know what im talking about. im now back in in koh phangan after my 3/4 day trip to koh tao. What can i say, i missed it here. I suprising did as well,it was kind of like returning home. Or like enetering the bar cheers where everone knows your name! Am thinking about renting a motorbike today and do someexploring of my own. The only thing that puts me off doing that is that appantly there are 2 deaths a month from motorbikes, most people which die are furlang as well. Oh and furlang means foreigners. Also if you go to a certain point on the island, Haad Rin, almost every second person has a bandage on because the roads are so hilly and people are so silly and that equals accidents! ok, 2 reasons why im in pain. One because i just went for another thai massage after my last one was so pleasurable and oh dear god did she bend me in like every which direction to the point where i thought i was actually going to snap! And the second reason of pain is that the mossies are getting the bettert of me! New count on the bites and its now over 100!!! 100! In case you didnt get that, 100!!!! Oh yes, im trying my hardst not to scratch but its just dso damn itchy. Im fighting back though, i bought some mossie repelant insence and a candle so they shall not be coming near me for a while me hopes! sniffle sniffle. Ive been byself for a whole day now! Ive left koh phangan as there was a high risk that if i didnt leave soon then i never would. You know when you like somehwre so much and your just really happy then you start to wonder what the point of moving on is. well thats what was happening to me. So i forced myslef to leave. i am going back there, like in 3 days! im now in koh tao and its lovely here. not much to report though, its harder here to talk to people as its quite a lot busier so most people are already with people if you know what i mean but its ok never the less.
