Beck and I just got married, and we've been telling people for over a year about our exciting plans to travel the world. Travelling has been something we've wanted to do since we first met, but leaving our great life behind (family/friends/our little house) at home will be hard at times.

We have been living in the UK since March 7th 2006, and using this as a base for further travel, with a bit of work thrown in. Some of the blogs are missing photos because the CD drive is down on our computer, but we will get around to uploading them. We have just got back from Italy today (October 17th) and this was our 25th country since early February. There is a lot for me to add to the blog, but don't worry it is all in a written journal - it's just going to take time, the photos especially. Stay tuned.

We left London November 21st and got home Christmas Eve via East Africa and Dubai with many dramas had on our safari including being held up at gunpoint in The Democratic Republic of the Congo.
