Today we were headed to Disneyland so an early start was in order. We walked to Gare de Lyon and after Simon bravely negotiated buying train tickets in French we were off. After a 30 min journey we arrived.

We entered the park and decided that we would go to the Disney studios first. First point of call was cinemagic which was a show showing the wonders of cinema through a man being sucked into the screen. Following this we braved the Tower of Terror which dropped you from height through an haunted hotel.

Once our nerves had recovered we went to the Armageddon special effects experience which was cool. After this we went on the studio tram tour which took us behind the magic of Disney.
Afterwards we went to see the motor actions shows which had vehicles doing stunts. This was very cool.

We then went on the rock and roll Aerosmith ride which was very fast and did loop the loops. We then went to the art of Disney animation show which taught you how they did the animations. The last port of call in the studios was Stitch live, this was an interactive show and was very funny!

By this point the studios was near closing time so we headed into the Disney village and went for some delicious dinner at king Ludwigs castle. Followed by a spot of browsing in the shops.

We then decided to head into the main Disney park to explore. We were both awed at sleeping beauty's castle. We then headed to frontier land! The first stop had to be the big thunder mountain- this was a runaway train and was very funny. After this we headed to the phantom manor which was a spooky house and took you on a tour of the haunted house and was spooky.
The next ride was the Peter Pan flight which took us on a ride above the story of Peter Pan. This was followed by the pirates of caribbean ride - this took us on a water ride through the scenes of pirate attack.

It was decided that we needed to test our sense of direction and try and navigate through the Alice in wonderland maze. Despite a few wrong turns here and there we were successful and escaped! To reward ourselves we headed to space mountain which shot us forward and round and round - this was very fun!

By this point it was nearly time for the Disney dreams firework display so we took our place, albeit in the rain, in front if the castle. The show was worth the wait and was a spectacular display of lights, water and fireworks.

It was then time to head home to dream of Disney.
