The much anticipated Legoland trip is over. we're back in Leed after two full on days riding rides and being amazed by Lego.

i think the photos will speak for themselves. the highlight for me was the new Starwars minifigure exhibition - which some of you may be bored by but we loved. FULL SIZE DARTH VADER IN LEGO - need I say more!!! Also new animated lego movie, The Padwan menace was really funny, nice George Lucas cameo! Not sure if you can watch it on youtube or not.

The rides were great, pirate ship was a hit - we managed 4 times back to back as it wasn't busy. I made my self so sick on the spider - like the cha cha but way too fast, that i couldn't walk. I really am getting old.

Will admit we all got burnt on day two - yes it was that hot.

After a while you just take for granted the amazing work put in to everything in the park, Lego is everywhere andd in such huge amounts. We saw the workshop while we were there and it was full or bricks and people, I think Cooper has found a new career.

Two days was just enough to do everything.

Next day we headed to Windsor castle, unfortunately the Queen wouldn't let us in!! it was closed for a memorial service to queen mum and Princess Margaret as it was the 10 year memorial of their deaths. We did get to see lots of old famous people - doing some star spotting as people pulled up to go in. Saw Felicity Kendall (the good life) but this didn't make up for not getting in. The castle is the centre of the town and is very imposing, so big and still very much lived in by HM. Walked down to Eton and looked around. great weather again!

Am posting this but need to rotate some of the photos, sorry some sort of website glitch!

Casey in Tantoine
Legoland looks awsome. So many Star Wars things how did Jo ever leave. Loved the full size Chewy Loved Casey in Tantoine Loved the Landspeeder ride I really hope Nigel never sees this blog. He will be so Jealous. Ps I have noticed some real themes emerging in your holiday. History (museums and monuments), shopping and the bargains for Jo, horses for Casey, sport for Greg and Cooper (Lords, Wembly and Man U) and lets not forget the sightings of the Precious. What more could a family want!!!!!
