Final Trip!

Finally in Santiago!

I woke up in a little more posh albergue in Arco do Pino and started out quite late. Among other big groups, I passed a school class who seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. The morning was cloudy, for the first time in maybe two weeks, which was a pity. On the other hand, it was so chilly that heat was no problem for the first time. Before noon, I thought I would go to Monte de Gozo, 5 km from Santiago, and stay the night there, but when I had sat down for a couple of hours seeing pilgrims passing by, I couldn't stand waiting and did the last 5 km in a real rush.

It was nice to get there, but it was no real finish. The finish will be the wait here without having to do anything, which I will really enjoy. The first time in the same bed for two days in a row, no rush in the morning, and no problems in the world. It'll be really nice!
