(english version below)

(English version)

We arrived in Medellin and went directly to the really cool hostel with billiards table, hammock floor, pool on the roof and ful of people so that the party begins immediately when you get there😊. First day we spent riding the cable car that gives you a great view of the whole city. We didn't know where the ride stops so we went tll the end and ended up in a park with zip-lines and bunch of colombians having salsa party at 1pm (aperently nobody works in Colombia). In the evening it was reserved for the compulsory Fiesta with the whole hostel.
Next day Uros recieved a Christmas present and we went to the Explora museum which is a kind of interactive museum with a variety of rooms (geography, physics, digital ,...). It was written in the guide that is a paradise for kids and big fun for adults (since Uros is something in between it was perfect😊 We wanted to stay there for 2-3 hours but ended up staying the wjole day...having OH SO MUCH FUN!

A day-trip from Medellin is the famous rock El Peñol near the town of Guatape which has some superb views. On the way from the rock to the nearest town we caught a party bus with a bunch of locals - old and young all singing and dancing oto a song "mueve tu colita"😊 The town itself is very picturesque with colorful baconies and a walking promenade along the lake. Back in Medellin we

Last day in Medellin we dedicated to the city center...whick wann't really the most beautiful thing we've ever seen...whole bunch of weird people...but the placa de Botero was nice!

After a seriously cold night bus (again they love to put the air condition on 12 deg.) we arrived to Cartagena...changed the shoes into flip-flops, rolled up the pants and started almost swimming through the streets ... flooding everywhere, 20 cm water, rain, wind, all the sewage bursting out. Despite the bad weather Cartagena is still very beautiful (the historical part) and is also on the UNESCO list. The streets are really colorful, narrow with lots of balconies. We went up to Fort San Felipe with a lot of underground tunnels and views of the city and Uros even found shoes that fit him (see the photo).

Because of the weather, Playa Blanca was off so we left to the small fishing village of Taganga. There we spent two days relaxing and one while met a couple from Belgium, who also wanted to go to Tayrone park and then directly to the Cabo de Vela - so

At least we had a cable car ride even though there's no snow
one, two, three we were off!

Till next time where we write about one of the the best beaches we've seen in our lives!
