(english version below)

We have just spent the most fabulous week... "Adventure trip" (as we called it) to NP Tayrona and the very remote peninsula of Guajira... and even better, we had a great company of a Belgian couple. So packed our light bags and we were off! The adventure started with the boat (that run out of gas for a few min and we were rocking with 5m high waves 10m away from the rocks)... all good, we landed at this beautiful beach! The only downside was bad timing because of the Christmas holidays so it was quite crowded but the great thing about Tayrona is that in spite of many people you can still find a privet spot just for yourself.

After 2 days of relaxing and exploring the nearby bays we left the park walking on wicked

path, crossing one too many springs, climbing rocks, being knee-deep in mud and passing more beautiful beaches to reach the entrance of the park and started "bus-hopping". First to 4-Vias, continuing to Uribia where we came somehow late, Since there was no more public transportation we climbed on a truck transporting beer and other essentials to the "end of the world" and after 5 very bumpy hours we finally reached the finish - Cabo de la Vela. We caught the last open restaurant in the town and treated our self with well deserved hamburgesa con cerveza😊 The rest of the night we spent sitting on the beach in front of our hammocks looking at shooting stars, drinking the left-overs of whiskey with the full moon so bright we could almost play cards.

Next day we "strolled" down (1h walking on the burning hot sun) to reach the superb sight of Pilon beach with Pan de Azucar in the back. Bright orange sand, turquoise sea, grey rocks and super blue sky! We finished the day with the sunset over the lighthouse El Faro and a great fish for dinner. At 3:30am we started with the same route backwards and after

finally some long awaited carribean beaches
long, dusty, bumpy and sweaty 10 hours we by chance stopped at Los angeles beach... which was the closest to paradise we've seen since. This small family-run resort with few cabaƱas, camping area and 2 pavilions for hammocks (one just for our self) was just too good to miss...so we ended up staying 2 days. I think we don't need to explain the following days... relaxing on the beach with a good book in our hands, playing with huge waves, strolling on the beach, having fresh coconut for breakfast and lunch and fresh fish for dinner. What more would one want!

We decided to spent the Christmas eve in Santa Marta with an American - Canadian couple which ended up great! Great restaurant, great people, great food and good fun!

Now we're in Cali for the crazy festival where there's never enough of Aguadiente and salsa never stops!
Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year to everyone!!
