hOjLa!!

so "baje" isto obleceni😊

Se pocutis malo kot Indiana Jones in search of lost city of Colibri, hehe.

Januarja 😊))

hOjLa!

Finally we arrived in the "oh so" expected Colombia. In Ecuador we stayed a little bit longer than planned, but we liked it sooo much, so we didn't have a lot time left for Colombia. We started with a very long ride to the final destination of San Agustin, where we're eager to finally see the place where, Uroš cousin Jana spent nine months (or more). The

The only sight we saw in Ipiales
road (Ipiales - Pasto - Mocoa - Pitalito - San Agustin) was really long (but at least interesting), first a short 2 hour ride on a normal road and then with a bus and on a very curvy road for 8 hours. Quite funny when you pass armored vehicles with a minimum five armed soldiers and you're enjoying some salsa inside the car 😊

In the evening we arrived in San Agustin, which is a really great town, really green and full of flowers. The main attraction of the San Agustin is Archaeological Park, where they discovered ancient stone sculptures dating back 5000 years. It is not known much about the civilization that did them and each guide tells you a different story. The afternoon, we mostly spent in the hostel (Casa de Nelly), which is a really nice place to relax and enjoy freshly ground Colombian coffee 😊))
In the evening we met a group of Colombians and the next day we joined them on the horse riding trip, which was again awesome ... Nice weather, pretty good horses (mine was a little weak, but I can not complain because I do not know how it is if

Danger narrow road - and it really was
you're carrying 90 kg 6 hours on your back😊). We went around to a three points with carved sculptures and then galloping back😊) We then went to Salento on a night bus.

Salento was also veerrry beautiful and picturesque. In the morning we arrived and in afternoon we went on a trip to the farm with coffee plantations. The farm grows two types of coffee (Arabica and Colombiana), which can accumulate 2x a year. It is interesting because one coffee tree gives fruit only for a period of 5-6 years, but only when maturates and that's after two years. Well at the end of this tour you're served with a cup of home grown coffee, which is great😊)
next day we went to the Valle de Cocora, which in my opinion is one of the top three most beautiful landscapes that we saw. The goal was a trip to the farm, which is known for it's humming bird's. Uros did about 400 pictures trying to make one picture of a humming bird in flight. The way to get there is super interesting as well, because you have to cross the river 6 times over some really suspicious bridges. You feel a little like Indiana Jones in the search of the Lost City of Colibri, hehe.
On the way back, the most beautiful landscape ever - all green with elegant really tall palm trees - really picturesque. At the beginning we had some bad weather but it improved.

After Salento we went to Medellin, but more about it next time 😊

Currently we are in Taganga, enjoying the beach and the sun! Given that we do not have much time left we decided that we will extend our trip a little - so see you on 30th January😊))
