RAIN!!!RAIN!!!RAIN!!!

Us walking through Hollywood Studios in the rain!
Aunt Donna recently had to leave the ship, as she had things she had to deal with at home, and they would not grant her time off to do so, so she was forced to resign. Her previous job had been working for Disney, so she chose to go back to that job. Working at Disney, she is allowed to bring in 3 guests per day with free passes. Steph, Nicole, and I were ecstatic when she said she would take us! She also had a friend of hers let in Seymore (Guest Entertainer - 1 of 2 “Blackstreet Boys”), as well as Delroy and Denis (2 of 4 from the band “Tru Life” from Jamaica) and so she rented a van, picked us up from the ship, and off we went!

We managed to do 3 parks in 7 hours! We not only got the highlights of Disney (as Donna knew the best rides to visit at each park), but we also got a workout, as we were literally running around the parks all day. SOOOO much fun!

It was a bit of a rough start after the first van popped a flat, and the second van’s engine

SO fast and unexpected. Our favourite ride of the day.
light came on and was running funny. By our 3rd van, and a whole lot of rain, we arrived at Disney! First stop, Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM Studios). Although the rain was POORING down, it was actually to our advantage as there was NO line up for either of the rides we wanted to do. We head straight onto the Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster followed by the Tower of Terror. Both were fun, but the Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster was by far our favourite of the day. We had lunch at Hollywood Studios as well and then head over to Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom was a lot of fun. We saw lots of animals, went to an amazing 3D show called “It’s not Easy Being a Bug”, saw a great performance of The Lion King, and went on a Safari where we saw Lions, Leopards, a Giraffe, hippos, crocs, and rhinos! It was like being in Africa! (almost…lol)

After Animal Kingdom was the Magic Kingdom. I was SOOOOO excited when I saw the castle. Something about the castle can make any person of any age feel youthful. I felt like a little girl who just wants to be a princess. At Magic Kingdom, we were able to do the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, as well as Space Mountain. We also saw Minnie, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy in the show in front of the castle. We wanted to do the Haunted Mansion but ran out of time so we ended our Disney day on the classic carousel.

We had such an AMAZING day thanks SO much to our friend Donna. What should have cost us well over $100 cost us only the price of our meals, and pitching it towards the rental/gas. Disney truly is magical. Don’t worry Lees, we’ll go back and I’ll be YOUR tour guide.

fun fun fun
Looks like you had a great time! I tried to do two parks in one day and that seemed like a stretch but three in one day! Very impressive. I remember Hollywood studios was a little disapointing but Animal Kingdom was a pleasant surprise after I had heard mixed reviews. I'll be back one day!!
