Rio Carnival 2008 - the warm-up!

Off Topic - I don't have any tips for single females in the Rio Carnival - I do however have plans to arrange a travelblog Rio Carnival Meetup - send me a private message or see the post below.

Tentative plans are - meeting in the early afternoon in Ipanema - on one of the quieter early days and joining a bloco street party.

And I'm another single traveller. Am pleased there are so many of us out there! Was worrying I wouldn't meet anyone and be on my own too much, but doesn't look like it!

I arrive Monday evening (28th). Anyone already out there by then and fancy meeting me on Tuesday?

After carnival I'm getting a bus down to Sao Paulo for a week and then flying to Peru to start my adventures around South America. May be seeing some of you guys on my journey?!!

First TravelBlog Carnival Meetup - Tuesday 29th 8pm - The Irish Pub: Rua Jangadeiros, 14, Ipanema - in front of Praça General Osório - the outside section - has good umbrellas if it rains. (close to the corner of Rua Visconde de Pirajá)
