I know Halloween is upon us, but I feel that it is not to early to think and discuss Christmas 2015. I am currently in Wuhan, Hubei China. I wouldn't mind getting together with a few others probably on the weekend before or after the actual date for a nice Christmas dinner and do the whole thing. If it can I know I would enjoy meeting up with a few other bloggers who happen to be in the area. So far I have only met up with one other blogger here. Which just happened to know him long before he joined the site and joined because I was on here and he only recently started traveling. I want to hear what others think about this particular idea
Reply to this This year we will be in our home in Fort Pierce, Florida. We are located on North Hutchinson Island. We haven't had a home in years so this is thrilling to celebrate at home. If you are in Florida please contact us as we would love to meet you.
Reply to this Thank you for the gracious offer, but sadly I will still be in Central China during this time. A fortunate thing with the schoool I am currently at We are given some time off for the yuletide season.
Reply to this Until our kids came along, after 13 years of marriage, Christmas was pretty lonely. Linda and I would usually go on trips over the holidays to get away from an empty home. One example is
Burma Christmas. So I can related to your experience away from home in central China (note: our neighbor in Virginia was the U.S. Consul General in Wuhan so I know that area well). This Christmas, as with the last two, we will have our three children, two husbands, and three grandchildren at home with us. I wish you a very Merry Christmas...and take a trip!!!

Reply to this BC, Canada. Wasn't planning to but I had an accident and would not be able to work for a few months. I got too depressed when I got out of the hospital so I decided to get out of Manila asap before my spirit dies. I don't really go out here but I needed a change of environment.
Reply to this We will be in Portland, Oregon spending time with family. We've finally managed to get a Christmas tree up, but it looks like outside Christmas lights will wait until 2016 Christmas. There is a little elf (or 2-year-old toddler) who is mischievously grabbing handfuls of gift-wrapped paper from presents under our tree. No surprises revealed yet, hopefully some presents will remain for actual Christmas day.
Harold -- I hope you are feeling better and get a white Christmas over in Canada!
